Hitting on the back with long wooden blanks as punishment is truly a chinese fantasy historical drama trope not…
How low are you all gonna go with these comparisons? Now we are gatekeeping punishments? And flogging the back of all things? This is truly ridiculous. 😂
I hate this show for 2 reasons: 1. I put off watching each episode for as long as I can just so I don’t lose that experience of watching it for the first time. (I still end up watching it within the first 2hrs of release. 😭) 2. I have never felt this tortured by 2 episodes per week. I need it all right now.
The fast pacing, the script, the cgi, the chemistry amongst all the characters, the comedy, the acting, the little dialogues, everything. This has all it takes to be a great drama, easily going to be the best this year if it stays consistent. I haven’t had this much fun watching a fantasy drama in a while. Don’t worry about the ratings or anything else, just watch this and I assure you, you won’t regret.
Go cry about it somewhere else. There is nothing typical to manhua about the execution. The way they soulshift…
Fantasy and cultural appropriation in the same sentence is the most ridiculous thing I’ve read in a while. Not engaging in this back and forth any longer, keep being pressed about a fake TV show in a fake genre and universe that never existed and keep on making multiple accounts to ruin the ratings if it helps you sleep. Beyond childish.

IT IS FANTASY. Is that so hard to understand? Nobody cares where the writer got their inspiration from, creativity comes in all forms. This gatekeeping is so pathetic, I don’t see any appropriation here. Chinese entertainment has also drawn a lot of inspiration from and even made remakes of popular Korean works and you don’t see anyone whinging about it like you and the rest are.
She is an elite warrior, but her soul is trapped in a physically weak body. A typical manhua plot. It is undeniably…
Go cry about it somewhere else. There is nothing typical to manhua about the execution. The way they soulshift into different bodies is indeed unique and you can’t deny that. These 2 episodes are one of the best I’ve seen in a long time in this genre. Take your sarcasm somewhere else.
China is wildly known for copying technology and pretty much everything but Cdrama fans are upset about the similarities btw this show and wuxia/xianxia? It is truly pathetic at this point. I have watched more than 20 cdramas but I don’t even see that much similarities in this other than the fact it is simply fantasy. And no, I do not care about your hanfu vs hanbok fights, I just want to enjoy a good show without the childish controversies.
Loved everything about this show until episode 6 where she receives a phone call from a potential killer confessing to a crime then proceed to meet him alone at midnight. A supposedly smart Lawyer? What was the writer thinking? I hope we don’t see anything like this again. (And can I just mention that Gong Chan is literally the best character I have ever watched on tv?)
People are seriously disturbed, I hope chnetizens stop this, we international fans love their fantasy dramas as…
The way you are spamming every comment with this same text and link makes me wonder if indeed it isn’t you posting it on Twitter. Don’t you have something better to do?

It is so so good that I hate it.
