Actually we doing very well with most co-star fandoms now. It is usually the "outsider" fandoms who trying to provoke us and make us fight, De Xian movie they tried hard to make us hate on Peng Yuchang and Yin Zheng, but it was also not working because they are bros who respect each other.
We will not hate co-stars and fandoms who respect XZ and their works together.
So I don't understand the blind accusations from the outsiders on this page

As I said in my reply for you in your other comment, if WDX is very respected actor as you said, XZ also not less respected than him. Even if XZ is known as liuliang, is not bad now, many producers, directors, co-stars who working with XZ only have good things to say about him, his 4 ML dramas on CCTV with decent ratings since 2022, he won/nominated best actor for awards. I don't think he is less respected. If it is because seniority, well, we can't change the fact that XZ debuted late.
Actually in Legend of Zanghai, some seniors like Wallace Chung, Michelle Chen also part of supporting cast, and it was fine, we didn't think they below XZ or XZ below them. So please, we can do the same now (If the actors/actress you mentioned really part of the cast later).

We get along well with most co-star fandoms as long as they respect XZ and the dramas/movies, everything went well and peaceful for most XZ works now, we still get along well with Zhang Jing Yi fandom and LOZH cast fandoms until now

The main problem is some actor fans (who also rumored ML for this drama before) who still looking down on XZ and continue to made negative remarks about XZ as actor and personal life and his fans, so some fans went defensive, it was not about the cast like wdx, lyy or li wanda.

Its good for him to try different genre, improve his acting and get the recognitions he deserve for long, and FYI in China, prestigious awards only consider "serious" dramas/movies, they will not nominate idol dramas/movies. Serious drama target are GP and TVs.
Its different in korea awards which more open for every romance/idol genre.

Zanghai is the best acting from Xiao Zhan so far. Like his expression, his eyes, his gesture, his delivery. He acting with every part of himself and he nailed the character.
He improved soo much from the untamed days. I love the variety genre and choice of his projects. He tried many different roles and genre, he is not type casted actor like most popular actors/actress which very fresh to watch every of his works.

Also good jobs for Huang Jue, I didn't watch his acting before, but he did very well as villain.

And I really love the plots, its really unique and different from most dramas that I watched. Kudos to all

idk maybe this time the season have stronger competitions because 3 male centric dramas airing at the same time with similar genre, and swords and beloved which released the last. just my guess. or maybe because the previous prequel drama didn't have good rep, so ppl still doubt this drama.
