I think its also because it was their first series watched available at that time, but like, if we started in a much more better series then probably we would not consider it and also taste in the plot is a big factor, cause most of the people watching series is either, an escape to reality or simply want to observe and enjoy it. I finished it before and If I were to give an opinion before then I would definitely rate it not low but not high just in the middle, but since I encountered many better series (regardless of before or after finishing this series) than this, then my opinion would greatly vary, but again it depends on the person's point of view. Maybe most of the watchers stayed for the visuals and it affected the other factors in considering a series. If this was the first series of a person and would still not consider watching it, then it is really based on owns preference and likes, its the same for the opposite...
