Yes and that was 10 years ago in the story when Fan Yue still had not awaken his purple eye (divine mantle). And Jing Yuan was dead 10,000. Years ago.

I thought this was related to the other two shows (eg; last immortal and ancient love poetry)? The backstory was completely different and we got no explanation of how Jing Yuan saved Bai sho when she was a kid.

Most of major side characters seem to all be scripted to die each phase. Wouldn’t be surprised if Ml and FML dies too fighting Hidden lord. Than maybe we will see them ascending to their true forms. They do have to die to for that to happen. Hope to see all dead character by then too.

I love how his kindness was rewarded at the end. Amazing friends and classmate especially Sakae Rira who seem to trying the set up main leads from the beginning. Haha
