I am pretty sure they are planning a season 2 or i hope atleast. Otherwise there would be no reason to end the season like that. They could have just made a 12 episode season and finished it off.

December sounds probable. They shouldnt delay it actually, If they delay it for another year or so, the whole hype created right now will be a waste..
