I think the last episode clarified it for me I think it's pretty romantic but just of the sad kind the ending was a confession like the words used are romantic in their native languages but that's my opinion!

It is romantic. There's a ranking of I love you. It's 好き(Suki)then 大好き(Daisuki) then 愛してる(Aishiteru) which is what Johan said a very serious word.

On episode six. Seiichi dying like that... I feel so bad for Sumiko. Pregnant and alone. I think it's interesting how she says that at least Ryu has Johan. Is she likening that to her and Seiichi's relationship? At least he has a partner?

Really funny coincidences but they don't take you away from the story and that's what makes it great writing

Yes I agree which is nice we don't get much of these kind of queer shows. I'm on episode 5 wondering if Johan is queer or he was just a great straight friend? I think he is and that's how he met his friend who owns the gay bar.

I'm not done yet just midway so I assume Ryu is queer

I honestly felt like it wasn't going to be a romance anyway doesn't make it bait anyway cause queerness is present openly

It's more of a show led by a queer character in my opinion which is nice narratives like this are always reserved for straight characters

Raik and Wooseong's flashback felt a bit romantic like exactly what you'd see in a coming of age romance

It only seems quick cause you're missing the time frame she has been on earth for about 3 months or possibly nearly four if we look at the cases they do not happen over a short time she even constantly complains about the delay in action from the criminals and through all that she's been interacting with him most of the time. That's enough time for someone to develop romantic feelings she's not fully in love but I'd say she's heading to it that's why it's dangerous.

There would be no proper closure like how exactly did they kill and what if they killed or harmed more if Bitna just sent them to hell before human authorities could provide full answers then it would be unfair to some.
