I really don't know how galleries and companies work in RL, but if I remember correctly (I read the manga a long time ago) one of the jobs of that company is running a gallery (it means the company has several areas of business) an exclusive contract with an artist who is already famous (and in demand) I think it only brings them financial gain as well as prestige.
