I can't get it, why the grandmother is so clueless of what's going on with the villain, am expecting her to be wise at her age. or she's just in denial and is turning a blind eye to his wickedness.
Just completed this drama last nite! The ending wasn't as bad as some reviews here made it to be. I put my take…
The END: last episode 16
1. MIL Do Yi - got her just deserved in modern life. She lost her newly wed husband and lost her mind. She still pines for her favorite son whom she murdered in previous life.
2. Chi Jung - was cruel to Chin Gam in previous life & was infertile. His daughter in modern time is not his biological child. Still childless ...
3. Ri An returned to Joseon as she didn't want to be forced to marry Chi Jung and forced to be a surrogate mother for Eun Seong. Chin Gam/Dol Soe - gone to Joseon era with Ri An. They went back to their first night together and eloped (symbol: bag put outside room) knowing that DolSoe wld be killed if they stay on. Love to see how Chin Gam use his modern knowledge & skills in Joseon era. Season 2 please.
4. So Jeo & Dan Deung Myeong married and have a son Dan Bi. So Jeo is now a successful award winning actress.
I enjoyed the drama so far and i'm on episode 12. Trying to stop myself from jumping to episode 16 as the unhappy reviews below really intrigued me ....
I couldn't stand the FL voice & stopped watching after a couple of ep. I thot to give a go again now. Alright after 12 ep in, i got used to her voice :) will re-rate this drama later ....
This is 1 of the best drama I've ever watched and it keeps me wanting more! Can't wait for the next episodes and 2 days without them is killing me. A bit sad is coming to an end soon. The story is interesting, never a dull moment! The interaction between the leads are on fire. FL aegyo with ML is so engaging and cute. She's like a little puppy snuggling into him and trying to get his attention.
I'm glad to know a like minded person .... i think the FL infatuation is quite realistic. Sadly in reality some might have a very tragic ending becoz of failed love.
If this drama doesn't have so many flashbacks which disturbed the flow of the story, it would be better. Find the story is disjointed and all over the place. Noticed the story of the drama is similarly flowed as Road Home. Poor editing is of no help. Some parts for eg. ML asking FL at cinema to go to check on pregnancy, this was abruptly cut off before FL answers. Hope producer will stop this kind of story telling ..... other than all the above and despite the flashbacks, I enjoyed the drama though ....
watching this just bcz of Yang Zi, initially actually pass over this drama cz i find the ML unattractive. I only watch dramas with attractive FL & ML, I'm vain like this :) Anyway, i'm on ep 9, i wish this drama give more time on relationship rather than the "Cases", it's a bore to me, i skipped these parts mostly.

it's the best Xianxia drama for me thus far!
