As a fan of Khemjira, I’m here to remind everyone that the comments section is for everyone to use. People can have different opinions and no one should be policed, insulted, invalidated, or harassed for having an opinion that doesn’t match with other people. It does not make them any lesser than the others. Please keep this in mind. We should not become the kind of fandom who cannot handle any sort of criticism. This could also leave a bad fandom impression on potential new fans or people who're interested to getting to know Khemjira or KengNamping.

Idk it's just this drama or if it applies to everything. Whenever a popular drama finishes airing, there's an influx of negative comments all of a sudden (overrated, copy of another drama, etc). While negative reviews are normal for every drama, it's weird that there's a surge of so much negativeness after a drama finishes airing, especially a popular/well-known one. It makes it hard to figure which one are actual / proper reviews and which ones are just for the sake of hating🤷‍♀️

Funny how that suddenly everyone has criticisms about the female lead all of a sudden. This drama is being very well-received, both in Korea and internationally. People love the main couple and their chemistry, even demanding photoshoots and variety shows. No one had any complaints when this drama was airing, but now that looks like it's gonna end on a successful note, suddenly everyone is unhappy🙄. It's one thing to give constructive criticism, but to completely discredit the actress is CRAZY work. Acting like she didn't put any effort into the role (even when she worked so hard to make her chef character convincing, with all the cooking lessons) or that she has no part in the drama's success is wild. Plus, saying that other actresses would have made this drama more successful is crazy. This drama is very successful with the current cast. So, discrediting her and wishing for replacements just sounds like 'Hey! This drama is very successful and story is good. I wish my fav acted in this!'. In no way, does this sound like constructive criticism

I don't think it's a fl issue. Idk if you've seen her in King The Land, but her kissing scene (especially the pool one) with Junho was very steamy. So, I think it's more of a direction thing. There could be two reasons for less steaminess: 1. Maybe because it's a historical kdrama 2. Chaemin has a girlfriend. This might not make sense, but it does happen. For ex. In big mouth, Yoona and Jong Suk's characters didn't have any kissing scenes despite them being husband and wife. They only had some hugs. Jong Suk had already started dating IU at that time

Basically, every episode.. Let's ignore the stool thing as a necessity for the romance aspect. The basic concept of a damsel in distress is a person who needs to be rescued from a situation, who is not capable of saving themselves from situations and have to be rescued by the other people or the other protagonist. That's what Khem is. The only time he actually did anything was the 1st episode where he fought against the zombie ghost. After that, in every episode, he had to be saved by Jet, Jet's sister, Charn, Peem, the ghost bro etc. Now, I understand he's cursed and his life is in constant danger. I get that. I really do, but it's the fact that he always has other people to save him or asks for other people to save him. He never tries to learn any self-defense or any sort of skills/spells to even get the most basic protection. He should at least try or try to ask to learn a spell that can give him a few extra seconds/minutes to distract/escape. That's the least he could do. But, he just doesn't do anything for himself. That's what makes him a damsel in distress for me. This is just my opinion though. If he wants to live, he needs to do something about it. He can't always rely on other people because they won't always be with him. Again, just my opinion

It feels like he can't do anything by himself without needing to get rescued. Even for something as simping as standing and getting down from a stool. It almost feels like that's all his character is. He had some interesting moments in ep 1 (where he fought off the ghost) and ep 2 (where he saved the kid), but other than those scenes, it's always about his character needing to rely on Charn, Jet, and Peem. We need to see more character depth or at least some character growth, no? Other than asking people to help, he hasn't tried to learn anything/any skills that might help him defend himself, at least temporarily. He's been with Peem for a while, but has he once ever asked Peem if there is anything he can do to defend himself in the dreams or when he's alone? If it were me, that's the first thing I'd do, considering my life is always in danger when I'm alone. He's only asking Peem to save him all the time. A lot of people can be sweet and kind, but that doesn't make up a whole personality. As a main character, he needs something more than that.

Overated how? Her acting wasn't the best when she first started her career, but everyone can see she has improved. Her comedy-based movies/dramas like Exit and both confidential assignment movies did really well.. I heard pretty crazy did fairly good as well. A lot of reviewers say that she seems to have a talent for comedy. Now, it's fine if you don't like her acting. Everyone has different tastes and opinions, but calling her overrated just because some people don't like her makes no sense. By saying 'not a hater- just open your eyes', You're basically saying 80% of the comments section blind and wrong, even though acting preferences are completely subjective. Also, The main reason why people are arguing here is because y'all keep bringing up the age gap and criticizing the FL when it's obviously canon that the king is young and the FL lead is older

Saying Yoona is not pretty is crazy work, but again beauty/looks are subjective and we a find different people attractive. However, in the case of this drama, He didn't like her for the looks though. In the starting, he told her that she's not his type, but he's willing to give her a royal favor if she lets him escape. He only started taking an interest on her after he tried her food and the fact that her cooking and warm nature remined him of the times when he was not alone.

Fertility?..... You do realize that not everyone wants children, right? Also, with the current times, there are so many options. Surrogacy, adoption, etc. To base a relationship based on a woman's fertility is kind of.....Also, why does this matter for the drama? This drama isn't focused on the queen position (like Mr.queen) and female lead isn't looking to be the queen either... Shouldn't we only be focusing on the story. Also, it's canon that the king is younger in this drama

I bet you that at least half the people who're shitting on Keen are just Earth fans or salty shippers lol. (No hate to the actor) I'm sure there are people who might actually not like keen's character so far or might like Typhoon chemistry better (like commenters who genuinely want him to improve), but the amount of unreasonable keen hate I'm seeing within only 2 eps (when there's a whole 10 more left) tells me everything. It feels like SOME are salty that earth character is not the lead. Keen's life has just been destroyed and he's just trying his best to survive. Y'all say "ooh he knows no boundaries.
