Great watch! Retribution in a great way!
A really good watch!After having watched countless lakorns and having completed three Thai watch challenges I learned to appreciate if the SFL (normally the psycho) gets retribution in the form of going to jail - I have only seen two. Normally they are just forgiven when they apologize and kneel down. Is it the same here? Yes and no. I will get back to that further down.
This lakorn is a perfect example of a mentally deranged person and her enablers. The SFL has serious mental health issues but insted of helping her, the people around her enable her and push her further into her derangement again and again. The so called uncle (SML, husband of FL) takes her to warm his bed, the FL just divorces and leaves, her mother protects her over and over again. This leads the SFL to attempt murder on various people without being stopped once. Even when she pushed the FL mother down the stairs the FL did not report her to the police. Typical lakorn so far.
What kept me going was the chemistry between the leads and their story, which was really sweet, funny and well done.
Now back to the retribution. Some commented, that they did not understand why the SFL got a happy end. Did she really? Yes, she did not end up in jail (they almost never do, even after a real murder) but what she got was not a "happy end" IMO. She lost the person, who would have always been there for her (FL), she lost her reputation, she lost her career, she caused the death of her mother, she lost her baby, she is chained to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Yes, she got the SML, the one, who she had wanted from the very beginning, the one, who she tried to kill for....what a catch.....she got a man, who cheated on his wife and refused to get a divorce, a man, who refused to marry her. A man, who follows his ZIPPER and gives his "heart" to willing women. She knows, that he was willing to cheat on his wife with her. She knows, that he was willing to marry her, because he felt sorry for her. She knows, that he will let the next willing maid warm his bed. She knows, that she is paralyzed from the waist down and that she has a man by her side, who will cheat on her and who will get tired of her. And worst of all, she knows, that the FL will be very happy with a man, who truely loves her! And the SML.....he got that woman, who slept with every available rich man, who got pregnant from another man (no way was the baby his but the father was this young boy) and who can offer him nothing in the form of benefits for his career - and myyyyy, how badly he wanted those benefits! Ahhh so satisfying to watch the last episode! I really recommend this. If you get past the first few episodes and the cheating you can relax and let karma take over.

Weak ML, weak FL, a lot of psychos
I really, really, really do NOT like weak, wimpy, stupid men and this lakorn is full of them! Let´s start with FL father who is dumb enough to be set up by some woman and looses his family. Let´s go on to the reason for this "revenge" thing: Prasin. That guy was engaged, cheated on his pregnant fiancee and because his feelings were trashed by the mistress he jumped off a building and killed himself. Then the FL boyfriend who happened to find himself in bed with FL sister - eyeroll. And let´s not forget the ML, who had nothing better to do than to get into bed with FL sister, too. Well, at least that woman got into a lot of beds in this lakorn.....Now to the reason, why the ML married the FL: revenge. Why? Because his psycho sister was the finacee of that spineless wimp Prasin and she ordered her brother to hurt the FL (FL and Prasin were friends and instead of researching, WHO was her fiancees mistress she just assumed, that it was the FL). So the ML married the FL (you know, little sister ordered him, so he had to obey), fell in love with her but continued to think, that she was a bad woman (his words, not mine). So instead of locking his sister up in a mental hospital and really getting her the desperately needed treatment for her severe mental derangement, he enabled her to do more and more evil and prolonged her suffering.
But the deranged sister of the ML and the ML are not the only ones, who repeatedly harm or try to harm the FL. There is also FL "sister", her fathers mistress, her ex boyfriend and so on. Typical lakorn. I wanted to drop this so badly, but I really wanted to see the FL grow a spine, slap the psycho, the sister, the mistress, her father, the ML, leave them all behind and start a new life somewhere far away from all those stupid people but well, I did not get what I wanted. Yes, the FL speaks up for herself....wow.....but remains an angel till the end, not loosing her temper even once - not even, when she catches her husband kissing her sister and later, when she catches them in bed....nope, THIS was NOT even worth mentioning, she just forgot....I assume her saintly brain could not hold a thought for more than 5 minutes. Argh. The acting was mediocre at best. The script was laughable. Waste of time.

What the duck!?!
What the duck did I just watch!?!To sum this up in a few sentences: ML has a mistress till the very end. ML sleeps with the mistress till....yeah.....ML brings mistress home, now all of them life a great live under the same roof....ML sleeps with mistress in the same room that he sleeps in with his wife.....He sleeps with his wife directly after he slept with his mistress - without protection of course.....he does not even take a shower in between.....this is not a one time thing, you get to watch this over and over and over again....you get to watch him making out with the mistress in front of his wife.....after the wife has watched this, she lets him make out with her....ähmmmm yeah, ok.....stupid much?
From start to finish, that is what this lakorn is about. In between all of this, the writers want me to believe, that he fell in love with his wife while he was *** his mistress....and the wife fell in love with her husband while watching him *** his mistress. Yeah, very funny.
Then why did I watch this? Honestly, I wanted to see the FL character grow and ONCE, just ONCE show even a tiny little bit of backbone, even a hint of a spine.....something....! But no, no, no, no!
If you have endured all of this for 14 episodes you reward is a two minute happy end.
My perfect happy end for this: husband and mistress stay together. Wife starts a new live after some serious therapy sessions where she learns to value herself, respect herself and love herself.

Frustrating weak ML
Well, this is one of those frustrating ones.The ML is a very weak character, that keeps his "mistress", the SFL till the very end. He is unable to really reject her and always puts her first.
The FL is like a boomerang: no matter how often the ML or the SFL insult her, she keeps coming back. There are a lot of scenes, where he is with the SFL and everyone knows, that she is his wife too. Even when he is outside with the FL the townspeople call him "the Sheriff with two wifes"....in front of his wife. Yeah, but you know, the FL stays, comes back, even after he tells her to stay away and we are supposed to think how great she is because of that.....the ML character does not have to grow, does not have to reflect, because she is ok with everything that he does to her. This drama preaches about trust, marriage values, respect......and it all seems to be connected to the wife: she has to trust, she has to value her marriage and she has to show respect to her husband...He? Well, he can do whatever he wants. Some call that a virtuous wife. I call that stupid.
I understand the message this drama wanted to "send out" but it went overboard with what she had to endure - and only she had to endure.
The acting was good. Bella was good. James was ok.

Pleasant surprise! Very good acting!
So wayree surprised me. I went in with absolutely no expectations at all, because of some of the comments here.The script was very good, the story enfolded with little to no loop holes, directing was good - cutting was annoying and weird sometimes as if something went missing.... (did they shorten the whole drama? Where there supposed to be more episodes?).
The acting of ML and FL was absolutely on point and fabulous! The second leads were amazing, too.
Especially Kem was able to portray the tortured, very much in love ML! Will have to watch more of his works to see, if this was a one time thing or if he really is that good.
On screen chemistry was over the top mindblowing - hope to see those two again as main leads.
Will rewatch this one!

Really, 10 stars for Marios acting! He nailed both characters, was always on point!This was a drama, where he could really show his acting talent.
The story was good, less crazy than other lakorns - which is a big plus for me.
Less crazy, less bitch slapping, less screaming and shouting........
Mint was meeeeh, as always (sorry not sorry) but still ok, since she had a strong acting partner.

Janies overacting ruined it for me
To be honest, the story and the overall acting in this lakorn were very good!Even if you do not like the cheating thrope, it is worth watching for some of the best Thai actors.
What ruined it for me was Janies weak acting. She has never been a strong actress and always needed her partners to "help" her - but this has already been discussed on many webpages on many occasions, so I won´t go into it.
However, one could overlook her weak acting skills because of her youth and beauty. Now, one can clearly see, that she needs to overact especially the emotion "angry". She is not a natural actress - she does not act naturally, every emotion and every facial feature are trained and do not come to her because she can really "feel" them on set.
Bella, Pong, Louis and Bua were on point and acting great - as always. Altough I am not a fan of Bua, one has to appreciate her acting skills, which she has refined over the years.

Disgusting
No, really, it is disgusting.What woman in her right mind would want a man, that nearly destroys her family, cheats all the time and does not respekt her or anyone else? He gets the FLs father to cheat on the FLs mother - can you imagine getting together with somebody like that?!? He tries to destroy the relationship of his best friend - of his best friend! Repeatedly - just like that, just for fun! He tricks the FL at every turn, endangering even her work.
All the charakters in this drama are depicted as stupid - except the ML who tricks and plays with everyone.
If you think I am exaggerating - watch it and you will see....

If you think, that the ML will change his way - no, he does not regret or repend even once!
Really, even in the last episode she has to drag him out of a strip club - no thanks, no way.

Excessive mental and physical abuse
If this were real life and not a drama, BOTH ML and FL would be in a mental health facility!The FL obviously enjoys being physically and mentally abused - that really is a mental disorder, research it and you will find the FL depicted in the symptoms. The more he hurts her, the more she loves him. Ever wondered, why she does not just walk away, why she NEVER, not even ONCE sets any kind of boundaries at least to the physical abuse? Yeah, that is one of the symptoms of the mental disorder. I can´t even count how often he mistreats her - but at least once every single episode.
The ML obviously has a huge childhood trauma which results in excessive abusive behavior towards the FL and her sick mother. This goes on to the extreme, again and again and again.
If this were a drama about describing and depicting mental health problems , it would be really good because the writer really managed to bring those mental disorders to a refined dot on the i and this drama would get 10 stars from me.
This is NOT a romance, this is the TOXIC interaction between two mentally unstable people and this romatization of violence and abuse should finally STOP.

Not that good
I admit, that I enjoyed WWWSK - the script, the cast, the acting. Surprisingly I also liked the Filipino adaptation - the script, the cast, the acting. So I was really happy, when I saw this Thai adaptation as I watch lakorns mostly...but my oh my, I did not think, that I would drop this.We all know, that lakorns are a different kind of drama and their adaptations are oftentimes "off".
The script here was overly dramatic, forced funny moments ( that I found ridiculous ) - the choosing of a new secretary: yeah, jump into the pool to rescue some documents (insert BIG eyeroll here).
The cast. The ML in WWWSK had charisma, that aura of power and at the same time he displayed the wounded hero to a T. Here: not so much. The FL in WWWSK had a calm, controlled air around her, when she was in the office. She had grace and style and always behaved absolutely perfect. Here: not so much. The acting. Both actors are good. The ML actor is one, that I liked almost from the start of his carrer. He has some great lakorns which I enjoy rewatching. But this role here is a no from me. Bua has improved in the last two years but her acting is nowhere near the level of the FL in WWWSK - sorry for that but this is my opinion. I like both actors in other lakorns but not here. To know the original characters and actors and then seeing this remake turning out like this...dropped somewhere in the middle. I can however recommend the Filipino adaptation.
