After she returns home, she tries to cultivate the "heartless way" I think it was called, to forget all of her feelings and experiences with him and become a god... but she can't. She still has lingering feelings for him and is attached to him, even though she thinks he moved on from her in the mortal world as king. She thinks he moved on and so she tried to move on as well. That's where the "Heartless way" comes into play...and she fails.
You make a good point. I thought, though, that Susu made a little bit of development. Like she went from being very prejudiced towards TTJ; believing she couldn't reason with him and wanting to find a way to destroy him, to then loving him, understanding him better and genuinely wanting to protect him.

Same! I was too angry to cry the first time. I kept watching the time left in the episode, hoping there would be a few minutes in the last scene to show a clear happy ending—but—no. Our day was ruined.

Honestly you're perfectly normal! 😂 I was rewatching episodes as they aired too because yeah those 2 days without an episode were rough. Even when I wasn't watching it, I was trying to function in daily life, thinking about scenes from the drama and formulating scenarios of what would happen next. 😅💀
