Just finished the first episode. Thought it would be worse after reading the comments here but maybe they helped to keep my expectations low. So I guess Yoon wanted to challenge himself with this role but I'm not sure if it is the one for him. Not going to judge whether he can play a mafia guy or not because for that I have to see more episodes but that sex scene. They shouldn't have showed his face during the part when he was wipping the other dude cause it was too obvious that he was uncomfortable. It showed on his face so much that I had to laugh. Also, I wondered if the tattoo really is that bad and let's just say I didn't recognized the tiger at first. It was just a huge dark mess. And even after figuring it out, I still think it's ugly and I love tattoos with all my heart.
Honestly, I thought the second episode was better than the first. Kind of more interesting in a way? I mean nothing much happened but I didn't wish for the time to pass as I did watching the first episode. Now, I'm actually looking forward to see how things play out.
On another note, I seriously don't understand the apple thing. There probably is a bigger meaning behind it but I just think it's weird how Sun has a heart attack and pulls out an apple. What are you trying to tell us? Eating an apple will help when you have a heart disease? Why isn't he taking any medications? I hope this will be addressed in any way.
Glad that I picked it back up again after not really feeling it after episode one. Like it better than the first part of the story about Fahs brother and I would be totally fine without them in this part of the story too. Most of their scenes so far didn't add any value to the story.
Yin and War acting. It's always makes it so enjoyable for me to watch this series. Like even more than I already enjoy it. Have to admit that I didn't care much about Nuea at the start but now, he grew on me. This series gets better and better.
I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who got confused after watching the latest trailer. Thought I knew what it's about but this trailer just made me question it. It didn't help that I got confused about who is who by the end. Not sure how it will turn out at the end.
I just finished episode 8 and I don't know. It's kind of boring and frustrating at the same time. At the start, I liked Lukchup but now, I start to get annoyed by him. He is cute but that's all there is. Same as Ram. I just don't believe that there are deep romantic feelings between them. Ram is lacking emotions, others would be furious to find out that their boyfriend is getting bullied and would try to do so much to help him but to me, it feels like is still in this mindset of: Can't do something, people will write and do stuff like that even when I speak up.
Also, why does it feel like Sky and Pai are the only ones with working brains in this episode? Was hoping that the next episode will be better but just Ram in the preview saying something along the line that NamNing can't be the reason for the bullying took a great part of my hopes.
I'm kinda disappointed with this show. It was too fast and because there was not enough time, it felt like parts of the story were missing. Plus, the whole plot parts with the girlfriend and the parents+brother, I didn't like it. It had no real impact on the story and they could have easily made the ending different but with the same outcome without adding these storylines at the very end. I'm just happy that it's over now.
I keep on coming back to read the comments cause I'm stuck on episode 4 and don't have the energy to continue. They are probably the best thing about this show. Just watching the first four episodes was pure torture. Like my brain fell asleep while watching cause it was so boring.
I'm glad that Ram's friends told him to make up his head. I seriously disliked how Namning acted at the beginning of the episode and nobody told her how rude she was. Still not sure what to think of Ram not planning on speaking up when people bully Lukchub online.
Anyone else who feels like something is missing between the 4. episode and the 5.? Cause they suddenly feel so close and they weren't like that in the previous episode.
It's sad. I enjoyed the show so much until the last episode. It was so disappointing to me. I didn't feel it at all and couldn't enjoy it either. The whole plot of the episode, it ruined everything that happened before.
At this point, I really wonder how they managed to get all of the characters to go to the island the first time when Lyla died. Like so much happened before that event.
