Really enjoying this so far! It can be corny at times but I have been laughing and having fun too! Lin and Zhang have great chemistry together! Glad I gave this drama a chance!

I have become such a fan of his now! So multi-talented! Ballet dancer, C-pop artist, solo singer, pianist, actor, model, gamer... The man can even cook!! I stand in awe and question what can he not do??? LOL.
And he still appears to be quite humble. He deserves all of the recognition he is receiving! I truly wish him the best!!
I wish there were more gender benders with guys crossdressing as girls. I spend half the time staring at the screen and saying, "It's so obvious that she is a girl!" that it can become annoying while watching most gender bender dramas...
It would be fun to see men getting close to the woman they love but trying to hide the secret... And it would probably be more believable because men tend to look more like women when they have on the right makeup and outfit than women trying to look like men.
Oh this is great!! I have watched so many over the years and it can be frustrating trying to find something new (even if the drama is old). I look forward to seeing how this feature fares!

You are welcome... I surprisingly made it through the whole demo and I felt that it was enough as well. LOL Even the explosions and gory moments were not thrilling or intriguing. Better for this to be shelved IMHO...
You are preaching to this choir! Historical dramas are my fave!!! Doesn't matter what genre they are set in nor the country they originate from. There is something so magical about them! Loved your article and I agree that more people need to open themselves up and not be instantly discouraged because of costuming or lack of history.
This just makes me want to watch it even more. I don't mind controversial topics because sometimes these taboo subjects need to be discussed in the open and explored. Not to say they are right but that these things actually exist in society.
There were a lot of 13-15 year old guys in my high school that were all fantasizing about 3 teachers who were at least 25-35. I am sure that if some of them had a chance they would have gone for it. Does not mean it is right but most guys are not going to turn down a chance like that. Being offended does not change the fact that it can, and does, happen. And it is part of the double standard. Older guys with a 14 year old girl.... Not even a controversy. Older women with younger men is seen as disgusting... I don't get it....
Saw the demo for this and I am not sure how I feel about it... Something not right with the casting... Bad acting as well from some of the side characters.... You hate to see hard work go down the drain but it may be better if it is not released IMO...
Fell in love with him in The Flame's Daughter. Adored him in TMOPB. Now watching him in Fu Yao. Going to seriously start watching his endeavours from now on!
