i think it’s more sad that the dad was clearly angry and threw something at the tv upon seeing the ‘friend’, but ended up using the device anyway.

Wish it was longer. Didn’t really understand why she said it was fine whichever ‘one’ he was when she was clearly traumatised enough to have offed him in the first place.

Also didn’t understand the whole neighbour’s aspect of this; her role was more like revealing things to help the viewers understand things more rather than actually add to the storyline.

Didn’t like the director’s previous work but this one was absolutely stunning. Things actually made sense in this and it just warmed me to the core ;)
