Really excited for this, but I'm not sure about Jang Hyuk pulling this role off. Granted, I've only seen him in Thank You and that was a completely different role. He was great there so fingers crossed. Jang Nara is perfect for this though.
U guys should be careful with watching rape-lakorns. It's not good at all. It will probably affect u in a bad…
Sorry, I don't agree with the first five sentences of your post. In fact, I think it should read "U guys probably shouldn't watch tv if you can't separate fiction from reality". No sane person would condone any of the actions addressed in your post or that take place in the lakorns mentioned above.
I do agree that I'm glad that the rape trope doesn't appear in a lot of lakorns now. I myself wondered when I first started watching them if that happened often in Thailand and/or if they thought it was ok.
"JAM LOEY RAK" is the reason I kept myself away from lakorns for a long time. I can't even describe…
If you aren't a fan of sadistic male leads and romance coming out of that, then I probably wouldn't watch it. Or most slap/kiss lakorns. I know some people don't like imprisionment, rape, male lead treating female like dirt, etc in their dramas, but it doesn't bother me. It's fiction and I would never condone most of what I see on fictional shows in real life.
Jam Luey Rak was like my, 4th thai lakorn and I really enjoyed it. Roy Lae Sanea Luang is already on my to watch list (and fully subbed on YT for those needing english subs). Hace you seen Sawan Biang? Definitely one of the best I've seen.
This was my first lakorn so it will always have a special place in my heart. I thought the story was really nice and beautiful in parts. Very good romantic comedy.
I love love Ken and Anne because they give me feels in lakorns like this. Yes, the storry will make you so mad, but it iis sweet and heartwarming in many places. I enjoyed this because all of the leads did a great job on their parts. I felt waht they were feeling. It was nice to see how people can changed by a bit of tough love and just coming into contact with people that don't take your crap. No doubt, I'd never care for some of these characters in real life and I'd never forgive a lot of the things they did, but it's fiction. The plot was crazy, but enjoyable.
Season 2 plot wasn't as solid as the plot for the first season. Some things bugged me so I gave it and 8. But the show is still fun and the girls are a joy to watch. The guys are just as much fun and even funnier and sweet this time around. I think my only complaint was that P Nath frustrated me and one of the 2 new relationships introduced annoyed me because of the bickering.
So glad to see Thai dramas here, especially this one. I loved it. I think this drama was great because it taught lesson in a fun and new way. I loved that the heart of the story is the five girls and their enduring friendship. I really enjoyed the strong female characters and the love between them. The guys are equally funny and sweet. They learn a lot about life and love from the girls. Watch this if you're a fan of supernatural plots with a good chunk of romance. You won't be disappointed.
A short, but great drama if you're into the supernatural. This can also be classified as a romantic comedy. I thought all of the actors did a great job and the characters were very enjoyable. I loved th eplot. It was quirky, fun, and well played. I hope there is a season 2 and I am currently reading the manga.

And I do prefer their rom coms.
