2. They did break up, in eps 27, and got back together in eps 36. During 27 to 31, Gu Qianfan’s screentime is little to no screen time.
3. Also in 36 if i’m not mistaken.

I find it easy to watch because none of them spat mean words to each other. They just don't talk about their feelings, that’s why i’m willing to see how their characters gonna grow.

Xie Zhiyao and Xu Hongdou is on the throne in my list at this point 🤣 i cant get over the fact that both moves so easily around each other and communicates well, even their argument was something that excites me. Loooove them both 🤍

That’s exactly why for me he’s worse. Better EQ, better upbringing, but bad at making decision, including when he gave her up for his best friend.

Ning Zhiqian is emotionally unavailable from the very beginning, while Ruan Liucheng got caught up in her imagination about Ning Zhiqian. She didn’t see him as he is.

His line in earlier eps including degrading comments, that’s why for me, he is a horrible human being regardless his status.

This one however, i’m not sure about the book, but all i’m getting so far is she lived in her imagination of being married to the guy she loves, while the guy was just there, coexisting without trying.

Gu Nanting and Lu Jiming are definitely up there in my list for worst ML. This one however, i can understand him.

The Yu Tu Reference got me laughing my ass off. Seeing her running around for him also reminds me of YAMG. The scene where Jingjing cried and tell Yu Tu she wants to be with him, but it breaks her heart because she does not want to be with someone who doesn’t love as much.

I lost interest around the time Wu Fei acting like a kid stomping her feet here and there demanding the world to revolves around her, not to mention her dialogues mostly “my dad this”, “my dad that”.

I watched this last night, and during the last hour of the movie, i remember seeing a video where Qu Chuxiao was saying he was wrong and he apologize to his dad. All i can think of was no wonder he said sorry 🤣

I forgot which eps, but they were in the kafe, and she said something about “people will grow up in a moment… that only you know, and others don’t”. I remember Ling Xiao said this in episode 8 when they were walking back home after buying some snacks. He said “you actually grow up in a flash… no one knows, except you”

He has a lot of screen time, but there are 3-4 eps with little to no screen time. But overall, no its not only female centre plot.
