HJP is the most most selfish of all. Good boy first lied with grandma and sent letters. Then got angry over money with grandma and left who actually sheltered him. Did not acknowledge feelings for dal mi to grandma and lied to her which he acknowledged. Shunned dalmi all the time. Mis behaved with do san all the time. He used do san because he lied in the first place and do san had no option but to comply as he wanted money at first. He did not want to even lead dal mi s team. Got angry on grandma and did not listen and trust her again while wanting dal mi because of jealousy. He did not bother to return grandma s love and warmth at all in beginning or later when he grew up and made same mistake and only was thinking about himself all the time. If that is not selfish then what it is?
On other hand do san always lost everything like dal mi. He gave up medal while he realised his mistake, his name used by another person which is called impersonation, gave up school/college because other students were getting heat because of him, in also future against his will had to meet dal mi as SL HJP almost blackmailed him. People hate him for being pushover but he was the only person in the series thst wanted the truth to be out more then anything and anyone to not hurt dal mi further. He said sorry to dal mi more then anyone in entire series just because he is compassionate.
Still people say HJP is better? Actually do san never lied. He was do san who was in news paper with math Olympiad winner.

People have right to hate any character in drama. Hope it doesnt make its way to wrong side. At least until now it is going strong on showing characters as humans with flaws and ambitious enough to fight for their future. Thats what start-up holds usually around the world. Situations surrounding start-ups are covered really well in this drama and I liked the way everyone potrayed their characters. I have seen enough drama to understand SLS. Atleast its not toxic like other dramas.
NJH as first male lead secured as of ep 7. This is going same as while you were sleeping as First kiss was in ep 7 in that as well. But the thing is KSH's character had many chances to answer and talk nice to FL but he didnt due to hesitation which ruined his chances. So logically speaking writer turned KSH into second male lead as of now. Hope their bromance continues like while you were sleeping and doesnt fall into cliche rivalry.
I die laughing all the time whenever something happens to NJH's character like his CODA video. Damn it that is the highlight of the show until now for me. Him and his friends are truely written tremendously well. I dont care who Suzy end up with. This is absolutely pure gold till ep 6. Lets wait for next 10 ep to see what happens as I have said I am okay with SML KSH starts developing feelings in later half and we see them being main couple but up until now it was weird to see almost not a single moment between him and Suzy at all. What if writer ends up writing him same as jung hae in in while you were sleeping where he does not get to express his feelings to FL. It would be really amazing if they pull a stunt where they show Suzy knew all along their schemes and had a secret crush on SML KSH then develop feelings after second half of show. That would make that couple more believable.

You are absolutely correct but ruining a great series with something like that deserves it in my opinion. Maybe I expected it to become way better then before and it failed my expectations.

Yes as last 4 episodes were extremely annoying. I said I rated it 10 for first 16/18 episodes. My rating was changed to 1 today after watching last 4. I cant stand certain stupid things.
What a freaking mess in the end. Even stupidest horny teenager wouldn't defy her bf. I have yet to see a woman shown degraded and stupid as in chinese dramas. It was going really well. I rated it 10 because it was really refreshing but im the end they dragged it too much. There was no need to introduce a character in the end like that and cliched story began. I vented my anger here as I really liked it till they introduced brother zheng. Hope there are people like me who wants to see a better female lead.
What a waste of time. Filler scenes, lots and lots of same length flashbacks, exactly same ML face throughout the drama, no logic or emotions behind certain decisions or basic understanding at all. I did not want to but this became most irritating drama of all time for me. I wanted it to be great and it started good as well but certain side stories weren't necessary at all and contributed absolutely nothing. No chuckles, no chemistry just nothing.
