Things have changed and are growing at a fast pace as Thailand becomes a more global country and BL reflects that which is great. The next issue that would be great to tackle within the industry would be colorism and how not only do actors with whiter skin are treated more favorably but those with darker skin strive to make their skin appear lighter and lighter.
I question my judgment for watching this in the airport yesterday as I was waiting for my plane back from the ZeeNuNew fan meet surrounded by 70+ year old people as I hovered over my phone screen when we hit that NC scene. Was this a perfect series? Not at all. The plot line had so many holes and made no sense, nothing was ever settled with the uncle or step-mom and why that whole escape attempt at the end? But I still enjoyed it a lot. I’m looking forward however much more to 2Worlds because the plot is much more interesting and complex and I feel will be more of a challenge. Nat won’t have to run around like a naive child like this role required him to and I’m happy he has that opportunity.

A bit? I’d go with he’d rather be boiled in oil than be there. Perth is 💯 in the scene while Chimon’s lips are pressed so hard together and his face pulled so far back you’d think he was being forced to kiss a snake. They should have never paired a veteran BL actor together with a BL rookie who had no desire to be in this position. it’s not like Chimon is a rookie actor just getting into the business who needs the experience and this is his way into the business.
