This was the first drama I ever gave a 10/10 too! I recommend it to everyone I know! The acting from everyone, especially Oh Jung-Se, was outstanding! They tackled mental health and autism really well, which is something that is not always done. I love the story that gets built between the main two as well. Cannot recommend this enough! I only just watched this show this year and not as it aired, so I want to say that first. I liked this show! It's nice seeing a gay dating show from Korea! I liked the cast of guys a lot. Some more than others obviously. I loved that we got to see different dates as well as them just hanging out around the house. It felt like they had more freedom than most dating shows which was really nice!Was this review helpful to you?
Should've leaned more into it being a GL
I liked the story, and the girls had really good chemistry with each other! They should've leaned more into the GL side of the story and I think it really would've amped it up a bit. It kept me interested the entire time I will say! I enjoy stories like this a lot and this one didn't disappoint. The acting was great, especially from our two leads. I feel like my biggest issue with it, is the trailer made it seem like they would be diving into the GL side more than they did. I'm very mixed on this one
I had to put this one right in the middle because I don't know exactly how to feel about still to this day. The characters and story were intriguing but I'm unsure how I feel about what happened between the two boys, especially with how it ended. That mask is nightmare fuel
Some scenes might be intense for some people so just a warning!I LOVED THIS!! Idk why it's not rated higher. This show is incredible. I loved that it presented itself as a BL but the main focus was actually the horror. There are moments that it's actually quite scary, especially that mask. I loved getting to see the mystery unfold throughout the series. I loved the gore of it all as well. I thought some of the directing and camera shots they were doing were really cool too! Loved it!
All the characters were so interesting. Loved getting to learn about what they were like before coming to the house as well as seeing what they would do in the face of danger. I also loved that there wasn't anyone who was a "good guy". They were just regular people who did some real shitty things in their lives.
I also loved the ending, though I know some might not. I can see why people wouldn't like the ending, but I personally loved it. Loved that they give you false hope thinking they made it out when they actually didn't. If you haven't read some of the theories about the ending, you should!
I can't praise this show enough. Highly recommend!

It's almost perfect
So sexy!!I loved this so much other than the ending. This show had me hating to wait for the next episode every day because it was so good! Absolutely loved it!
The two main characters had such amazing chemistry with each other and I loved watching all their scenes together! Their kissing was pretty good too! I loved them together and as individuals as well!
The only reason I can't give this a perfect score is the ending. I personally hate open endings, especially in something like this where romance is the main focus. Open endings do work for some stories, but this isn't one of them. I hate that we don't know if they really end up together or not, or if one of them dies or not. The finale episode felt a bit rushed, which I know happens a lot in these shorter episode series which is super unfortunate.
That being said, I would still highly recommend the series! Amazing story, characters, and chemistry!

Gotta love a toxic relationship
The chemistry between King and Uea is great since the actors were together at the time. The spice was pretty good as well. I think a lot of people will one spicy scene in particular because you don't see it on screen like that too much.I feel like a lot of Uea's trauma gets overlooked. I feel like they take it very lightly and move past it super quickly or just don't care, so that's not great. The relationship is toxic, like most shows to be honest. So if a toxic relationship isn't your cup of tea, then you might not like this one.

The ending is...interesting (slight spoilers)
Absolutely incredible! The new characters who were introduced were just as interesting as the characters in season one. I do wish we got more Chishiya because he's such an interesting character. There's just never enough Chishiya if we're being honest.Loved a lot of the games in the season and thought it made it more intense that even when they weren't playing a game they could get hunted down. Even if that guy had a bit of plot armor because no way her was that strong and unstoppable.
The ending was a lot. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love everything about it either. Do I think all those possibilities of what was happening was necessary? No. I do think it could've been done differently or that time could've been used for something else. Is it awful that they did that? Also no. I think they took a very interesting route with it. It was cool and I think led into season three nicely.

It's popular but still so underrated
This show is absolutely incredible! I know it's popular, but it should be bigger than it is. The acting, the storyline, the visuals are all amazing. This is such a unique concept, and it is done so well. I love all the different types of characters and seeing how they all play as well! Loved watching different relationships grow and fall apart throughout the show. These shows always make you think what you'd do if you were there and I love that so much!I love all the games in this season! The last one and tag were definitely my favorite in this season!
Just to talk about a couple of my favorite characters...Arisu is such a complex mc and I love him so much! I love Kento as an actor as well and he did amazing in this series!
Chishiya is the GOAT! KING! LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART! Kuina is just such a baddie! MY QUEEN LOVE HER!

Incredible story telling but you can get easily confused!
This show was outstanding! I loved every second of it! Everything was very thought out from the very beginning, and you can tell the creators put a lot of thought behind everything. I loved the mystery of it all!! I definitely recommend taking notes unless you have an excellent memory because there is a lot to keep track of. I had a whole page of notes going by the time this show finished lol, but it helped a lot, so I didn't miss anything. The acting in the series was incredible as well! Weird concept, weirder show
I kind of hated this drama to be honest. I know it was a weird concept to begin with, but it was somehow weirder than you'd think. I love both the main actors, but this show was not it. The best thing and only saving grace about the show were the kissing scenes, those were amazing, other than that the show was quite bad.Was this review helpful to you?
