I'm currently also watching C-drama - When I Fly Towards You. In this, at 17yo FL & classmates travel by bus & train to another city for competition on their own, they went on holiday in another city too. Maybe that's why I compared SangZhi in Hidden Love seems more childish... I've watched afew other high sch C-dramas... they don't tend to portray teenagers as that so 🤷♀️
Just re-watched Love Like The Galaxy... so find it kinda funny that ZLS's character mother in LLTG doesn't treat her nice... then in this drama with the same actress as her mother, treats her so😊 nicely
So happy for this ZLS modern romance drama with gd looking CZY. So impatient for it to air, then now want it to hurry finish so I can binge-watch all in one sitting. I find that SangZhi when young 14yo, her character behaviour like that of a 8-10yo little girl... Then when she's 17yo , her behavior like that of 14yo... Maybe drama wants to show the age gap between FL & ML... but FL behave a little too childish.
Different people really have different taste😉 Which is a good thing. I was shocked when I saw the review with so many low ratings. Really liked this drama very much. It portrays people with all sorts of mental issues and their healing. It is not on my watchlist so only found and watched it mid last year, and already re-watched it once.
Finally a rom-com with LJH. He looks so amazingly good 😍 But really Korean script writer should do their research & not be too lazy, then just write any ridiculous scenes as comedy 🫤 Not the 1st drama with lazy scriptwriters. The ending scene of episode One is so ridiculous. Even an average hotel after guest check-in, staff can never use guest-room toilet. Totally NO hygiene. Kings Hotel seems like a 5-6 star hotel, Concierges, especially for VIP rooms, would know all features in the room, so they can show guests. So FL playing with the remote as if first time coming across it is ridiculous. How FL & ML first meet. could have be done in a funny, silly way but less ridiculous but 🤦♀️ The K-drama - You Are My Spring - has better scriptwriters. Their Concierge staff has very funny moments but none ridiculous.
Nothing to do with age... it's about looks. BJT looks very boyish, so even if he's in his 30-40s I think he can easily take on the character of a high sch student. His pairing with New Life Begins FL actress is more well matched.
Want to want for BJT, he looks really good in this. But FL actress looks too matured, doesn't suit the role... she could pass off for ML's mother instead of wife. Got nothing against the actress, she acts well, just doesn't match with BJT...
