I think I’ve figured out why Soo Ah’s character bothers me. And it’s not that I dislike her, but I find…
To be honest, in general I'm too disappointed with Soo Ah. Exactly for the reasons you've already pointed out here. It breaks my heart to think that Sae Ro Yi would move the entire world for her and she wouldn't do the same for him, unless she could benefit from it.
In the other hand, we have Yi Seo (I don't even need to list all the reason I don't like her.) Can she really learn to be better person with him? Possibly. But does she have emotional stability to support him? I don't think so.
So after all, I guess I would choose Soo Ah if I had to. I still have hope that her character will develop and I'm waiting for a moment she will sacrifice herself for Sae Ro Yi.

Title Itaewon Class Spoiler
To a degree I agree with you, though I absolutely love her as a character, she is extremely nuanced. But that…
Yep, you're right. I totally understand what kind of character she is, and how much she will grow up from it. And the main point here, as you pointed out, is Sae Ro Yi. He's the reason of her changes.
But that particular fact that she doesn't look indifferent, made me change my idea of her character. It would be MUCH better, if she was a cold character, instead of just a mean one.
At this point, nothing separates her from a character like Geun Won, for example, who acts according his own selfishness.
Btw, that's it, you used the right word, she's extremely nuanced.

It’s okay you don’t have to like her but good luck watching the whole drama cause she is our female lead and…
Yeah, I know. She is main main main female lead, I just need to accept it.

well if you hate her so much, just stop watching the show (i just wanted to share my thought)
I like everything else about this drama, so the fact that I don't like the lead female is not enough for me to stop.

I have a huge list of the reasons why I hate Yi Seo, and after watching episode 8, I finally realized what it's on the top of this list. And this one will prevent me from accepting her possible character redemption later on.
Every time she acts like a mean b*tch, she has a face that matches her behavior.
Her character is described as a strong female who doesn't care about other people's opinions and feelings (all to justify her racist and selfish actions).
But if that was really true, why doesn't she look INDIFFERENT?
On the contrary, she looks like she's enjoying her actions.
For me, she's more like a psychopath than a sociopath.

(I'm sorry if it sounds too repetitive. I just wanted to share my thoughts.)

If she was really a sociopath, eventually she would.
That's true!

I don't like Yiseo, but one thing for sure I can trust her that she will never hurt Sae Ro Yi
If she was really a sociopath, eventually she would.

I've been trying my best but she makes it so difficult. Shes extremely rude and full of herself it's so off putting.
Sociopaths normally don't show interest in close relationships and don't need love from others. They don't show remorse after a bad behavior or intentions of helping others. If the writers really wanted to give us a sociopath character, they shouldn't have given us a HALF sociopath character. She's just an immature girl that for no reason at all grabs the attention of other people. Her behavior doesn't convince me.

Agreed! I can’t stand her, they called her a ‘sociopath’ but she really isn’t , she’s just arrogant…
Exactly, she's not sociopath AT ALL.

I'm seriously disappointed with the fact that they are leaving many details behind to focus on unnecessary dialogues and pretty long "romantic" scenes.
Btw, as much as I would love to have Taecyeon stalking me, isn't his behavior kind of creepy? hahahaha Let's keep going, I still see potential in the plot.

Maybe this is unpopular opinion. Yiseo is ridiculous, she stopped Soo Ah from kissing Sae Ro Yi and talked about…
That was the worst scene. Not funny, just too random and immature.

Do we already have the actor who plays the serial killer? He looks A LOT like Oh Seung Hoon.
Now he reminds me of Yoon Park. Oh my, I'm so curious.

so this a show about baseball, where there is no actual baseballit's trying (and failing) an unorthodox practice…
Baseball is not just about the game itself. Everything in life is not just about the spotlight. The backstage is also as important.
The tension is there and in every episode. It's all about the characters' decisions.
The antagonists have their motivations and the fact that they're are not too obvious (to be called "villains") makes it even more interesting and unpredictable.
I won't even comment about NGM because in my personal opinion he rocks every single character he plays. That's how good he is. And Baek Seung Soo is a character that you can connect easily with.
Since you're telling people not to waste their time, I need to say: I never thought I would enjoy a drama this much. So, WATCH IT.
