I understand what you are saying and I do have faith in the history series and am not dropping it yet mainly for the cuteness of the other couple. My only concern is if they would handle this issue well, because consent issues are rarely addressed in bl series. They sort of brush it off or sometimes turn it into some romantic gesture.

The thing is young and impressionable people are in the audience. It won’t be because they are dumb but more like they don’t know any better, when popular media starts normalizing this kind of scenarios that would be unacceptable in real life. I don’t have a problem with shady characters but they shouldn’t be justified. It should be seen as it is. An issue that needs to dealt with.

I agree. Xing si was clearly wasted and in no position to think for himself. Even if both of them were previously lovers(which they were not) this would be wrong. If one person is under the influence( of alcohol, drugs or any other substance that compromises their ability to think straight-no pun intended x) it is considered dubious consent. It’s not really love if you don’t respect the other person enough to make their own decisions about THEIR life and body. But I adore the other couple so I still have hope that they will seriously address this consent issue. Fingers crossed.
Isn’t a brain transplant thing a bit ridiculous. There is no sci fi tag to this drama. I’d rather prefer if they kept this drama realistic for the rest of its running time. I love the new Jang ba rheum tho. Behavioral changes are normal after brain surgery. Also he was a shady character before surgery as well. Brain transplant would be an unnecessary addition.
Wow at end of ep 5 yoo jin goo really upped his game, I love his character. It's so realistically portrayed. Like wow. When he burst out like that with so much pent up emotion,.... yoo jin goo did not disappoint.❤️
