I wonder why the rating is so low??? I think the show is quite enjoyable, I do understand the people who are saying that the FL is childish/annoying but I would say that's her character, she is supposed to act like a nutjob. She's quite funny though.
FL is just so cute here. Which other dramas of her is worth checking out?
I would recommend all these 1. My Perfect Stranger (Time travel thriller) 2. From now on, Showtime (Supernatural/comedy) 3. Come and Hug me (Romantic thriller) 4. The Secret Life of my Secretary (Rom-com)
Please don't hate me but I need to say this. I decided to watch this show after seeing that massive 8.9 rating, I had huge expectations but all the expectations fell flat. Firstly, from the very beginning the drama was promoted as a spin off of Hidden Love, that it will be the story of SZ's brother Sang Yan but through out the show, SY just felt like a side character (His character had no depth , just a one dimensional character whose only role is to play the love interest of Yifan) Secondly, there was no backstory of how he fell in love with her in highschool. I mean he saw her at the first day of school and he started chasing her, there was no reason why he liked her so much. Thirdly, the whole harassment plot was overdone. It's like the writer had this one plot device which he kept reusing again and again since the plot had nothing much to offer.
The pace was extremely slow and the sub plots / side characters were not engaging rather annoying.
I honestly don’t understand how this drama has reached a 9 rating. If I had to sum it up in two words: Overrated and Overhyped.
This was such a well made show. Anybody whose contemplating whether to watch it or not, I would say just start watching it right now. You won't regret it.
