Hope that Xu Chang Dad tdoesn’t scam the second lead it looks like he was the one that caused the dude‘s dad to go to jail the second lead seems smart, so I hope he has a back up of all the stuff that the dad is requesting him to do which seems to be very illegal. Drama so far Is a bit slow leads are not moving towards anything their both too depressing plus female lead is insecure with low self-esteem. Hope this show improves so far it has been a letdown plus the plot is weak.

Yeah I’m kinda getting those vibes too. That’s sick because he took in the son and ruin so many lives all for money. I just hope the 2nd lead doesn’t become evil for revenge and losing the girl but it’s only been 10 eps and we have ways to go hoping it doesn’t get too crazy.

He’s also controlling which comes off wierd. He’s not her man so he needs to back off plus why is everyone around her okay with this dude pursuing her and give out her private info at a drop. He looks old wearing that fake shiny leather coat someone needs to be fired.

I bet the whole issue with sister is going to be about unrequited love on her end. I predict that Xia knows where she is and probably told her some lies to stay away. Modern Cdrama can be so frustrating with some of the tropes and so many episodes. Hopefully the leads stay consistent and don’t pull a breakup due to a silly misunderstanding or the Mom blocking them because of Xia. Unlike the ML previous drama they have such great chemistry plus she’s so mature and dedicated to her career I love that she working so hard to improve her skills.

I agree that move he pulled with the flowers and gifts needed to addressed he basically tried to put his mark on her like dog. I bet the sister probably left due to unrequited love for the ml not because of any serious wrong doing done by the lead. Hope the leads get together soon and their isn’t too many misunderstandings.

I drop dramas towards the end if it’s too cliche like the break up trope or leaving for another country reuniting at the last 5mins. I also have a 2episode rule if by the 3rd episode it still doesn’t capture my interest I will drop a drama idc how good people say it is. Plus I watch way too many Asian drama from all countries so sometimes people will rave about drama but it’s Mediocre full of idols with no acting skills and tropes from the years ago.

Yep lately every drama 2nd lead gets hype up just because people want them to get the girl or think he’s cuter than the lead.

The mil makes this unbearable but it actually realistic because I know friends with mil like this wish the story line was better so far this a 7 for me.

It’s pretty good so far watched all 8 episodes, FL was a busybody in the first couple of episodes but improved. At least she’s not a damsel in distress and acts her age plus she smart 1st in her class with no baby Lolita voice the way cdrama usually have the female lead act.The acting isn’t over exaggerated and the storyline isn’t bad even if we’ve seen this same college setting done before this feels fresh. Hopefully we don’t get too much of a 2nd lead conflict with the ML since it’s looks like they all know each other.Fl reminds me of Sandra ma,she looks like a younger version of her facially.

The trailer looks good but I don’t like the female lead’s acting, she tends to be stiff and have no chemistry with the male lead in all her dramas. Hope this isn’t another false hope with a spicy trailer and but a let down once the drama starts like Begin Again.

I’ve notice this as well in a lot of Korean and Asian drama the same trope of eating with their mouth open. If it’s not common in their culture why do they showcase this so much in their shows and movies the person also makes lots of noise eating too. I don’t find it disguising just thought it was the norm for them.

After watching episode 15 and 16 with subs I see why SQ doesn’t trust LW. She’s very sneaky and tries to act innocent while pulling manipulative little tricks behind the scenes to make the FL look bad.
