One of the best kdrama !!
TWINKLING WATERMELON is one of the best Kdramas of all time in every aspect. Well, this is my first time writing a review!! I've come across many beautiful dramas but this drama has my whole heart because it was so comforting. The way this drama portrayed each character and their emotions was just mind-blowing. From start to end, it got me on the edge of my seat, and the character development was just WOW. You will feel like you're a part of the drama where you giggle wholeheartedly, weep like a child, and feel sad and happy with every moment. I felt a mixture of emotions while watching this show but it felt comfortable, soothing, and warm inside. Kudos to the cast and crew for coming up with this beautiful drama. The screenplay and the narration of the story were just fantastic. Ryeoun (Eun-gyeol) carried the whole show to the next level with his natural and nuanced acting. He was soo cute in every way. I enjoyed Ryeon and Choi Hyun-Wook's screen time. This father-son chaotic duo made every episode funny and beautiful with their versatile acting. Choi Hyun-Wook (Ha Yi-chan) will be my favorite character of all time. He showed how to turn someone's shortcomings into something really beautiful with his outstanding delivery of emotions. I've never seen any of Shin Eun-soo (Cheong-ah) dramas, this is my first show and I was stunned to see her performance. Though she was deaf and dumb in the whole drama, her twinkling eyes spoke every emotion that can't be described with words. Whenever she smiles, you'll feel her joy, whenever she cries, you'll feel her sorrow and her silence will shatter your heart. Mother-son duo screen time will break and mend your heart at the same time for sure. The endearing love between Omma and appa, and Ajussi and ajumma will make your heart flutter. Seol In-ah's (Choi Se-kyung / On Eun-yoo) chemistry with Ryeoun was at top notch. Seol In-ah did a great job with her acting and showed that everyone has flaws and struggles in their life and that ending our life is not the only solution. Though the ending was bittersweet, it was the perfect ending that we all wanted. It ended with the note that everything happens for a reason, hold on there, and live your life to the fullest without pondering over the things.đ WATERMELON SUGAR....VIVA LA VIDA đ

Early Review
The first episode of Spring Fever tries very hard to be mysterious and romantic⊠a little too hard đ . Instead of clearly telling the story, it keeps too many secrets. We donât know much about Bomâs sad past, Jae-gyuâs real job, or why they seem connected already. The show keeps saying âWait and see!â but forgets to make us feel something right now. Because of this, the episode feels more like a long introduction than an exciting start. But donât worry â the actors save the day đ. Lee Joo-bin does a great job showing Bom as both a quiet, broken teacher and a confident woman from her past. Ahn Bo-hyun looks scary at first, but surprise! Heâs actually soft and sweet underneath (classic rom-com move đ).
Even though the story feels a bit messy in episode one, the chemistry between the leads and all the unanswered questions make it clear: Spring Fever might get much better once the romance really starts đžđ.

Queen of Tears Is Yet Another K-Drama That Doesnât Stick the Landi
â It's A Below Average Drama With Amazing Performances and Decent To Good Cinematography With A Generic RichA$$ Makjang K-Drama Plot.. But Bruhh I Wasn't Expecting This Sh!t At All.. See It Was A Most Anticipated Drama From Makers Of CRASH LANDING ON, VINCENZO and MY LOVE FROM THE STAR.. + It Was Comeback Drama Of One Of My Favourite Actor Kim Soo Hyun.. So Obviously I Had Very High Expectations.. But It Turned Out Hell Boring Drama With A Bland, Lazy, Draggy Yet A Predictable Screenplay and Direction.. With Dead And Cliched Chemistry Of Main Leads.. + There Is Hardly Even 10 Mins Of Plot In Every 1h30mins Episodes.. I Can Point Out Much More But Let's Not Go There.. It's My Opinion And You Guys Might Have Different Opinion, I Totally Respect That.. But For Me It Was Biggest Let Down.. I'M DISAPPOINTED, DISHEARTENED, DISPLEASED and Uh.. Its very soft and chilling
This is the best written show I have watched with focus on every single character. The writers have done exceptional job in writing the story and at times goosebumps inducing scenarios which relate to one another in complete unexpected way.One more best part in the story was that the seriousness and dark mode never lasted long and when it did, it faded away with the best climax I have watched. The ending of the story is beautifully and leisurely written which just warms your heart.
Each and every actor and their characters are awesome as they are done justice on till the end.
And how could I not appreciate the lead female, AJI 3(robot), or Jo Ji A, is beautiful both as human and as the Robot from the start.
It's a heart warming series from start till the end which will make you laugh and cry.
Authors are genius to have written such an amazing series. No! It's not the plot that is fascinating.
It's the little details. Every show I watch, I wish I could see a character's reaction for a certain moment. And this one Korean series fulfilled my wishes.
This series has goosebumps inducing authors, amazing directors and the most beautiful actors.
Minor spoiler - The Climax with meteor shower would be the most beautiful part, which I loved as an author and as an audience. It's genius and beautiful.
End of spoiler.
Thank you for this show, and especially, I would like to thank and suggest every director to direct such shows with such ending where we are left with one or two episodes with heart warming smiles and laughter.
And to the people who wrote positive reviews here, thank you. And to those who are reading, just please do watch this show and have a beautiful life.
Do not miss an opportunity to love, and I hope you all find people who would heal your heart.

Nice short length drama we should try it
The thing about sequels is that you would expect to see the magic of its predecessor reflect somewhere. There are certain expectations of the sequel from the viewers. Soundtrack #1 was an instant favourite due to the breezy chemistry between South Korean actors Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee. They were paired up for the first time on-screen. Similar expectations were levied onto its sequel Soundtrack #2 which premiered earlier this month. Noh Sang Hyun aka Steve Noh and Geum Sae Rok star as the leads in the anthology sequel. Taking the idea of Soundtrack #1 ahead, Soundtrack #2, a six-episode short story, also features a story of love and heartache backed by melodious tunes. Ji Su Ho [Noh Sang Hyun] and Do Hyeon Seo [Geum Sae Rok] were college lovers but broke up because of their differences and contrasting ideologies. Neither of them fully moved on from the past, but they carried on with their lives. Now, four years later, the two coincidentally crossed paths. However, even in different spaces in their lives, the unresolved issues creep up as they spend time together in the present time.Ji Su Ho is now the CEO of an entertainment company which backs creators and Do Hyeon Seo used to play the piano but had to hit pause on her career. Now, she works several part-time jobs to pay her bills and keep her piano studio afloat. Demian stars as K, an aspiring musician. As fate would have it, K, Su Ho and Hyeon Seo came together for a music project. As they spend time together working on the project, they find resolutions for their past and present dilemmas. K grows feelings for Hyeon Seo but she does not reciprocate them. The two remain friends. Hyeon Seo and Su Ho give a second chance to their relationship, but unresolved emotions surface as they navigate their current lives.

9/10 â Beautiful, Quiet and Heartbreaking
Hymm of Death was honestly so beautiful and painful at the same time. I gave it 9/10 because even though it is short, it still manages to leave such a heavy feeling after finishing it. The chemistry between the leads felt so real and natural, and the whole drama had this sad, quiet atmosphere that stayed till the end.The cinematography, old-time setting and soundtrack made everything even more emotional. Shin Hye-sun was amazing in this, she made every scene feel so genuine. Lee Jong-suk was also really good and both of them together made the story even more heartbreaking.
I liked that it was not dragged and every episode had meaning. The ending was expected because it is based on a real story, but it still hurt so much. It is the type of drama you watch once and keep thinking about after. Not a perfect 10 for me only because I wished there was a little more depth in some parts, but overall it was really beautiful and worth watching.

A Story That Hurts Quietly
Pawane was one of those movies that slowly grows on you while watching it. At first, it feels simple and calm, but as the story moves forward, it becomes much more emotional and meaningful. It is the kind of film that does not need big dramatic moments to leave an impact. What I liked most about this movie was how natural everything felt. The emotions were not forced, and the characters felt real. Their struggles, conversations, and relationships felt believable, which made it easier to connect with them. I think that is one of the strongest points of the film.
The movie has a quiet and emotional atmosphere throughout. It is not very fast-paced, but that works in its favor because it gives you time to understand the characters and what they are going through. Some scenes are very simple, but they stay in your mind because of how honest they feel.
The cinematography was also beautiful. There were many scenes that looked visually soft and emotional without trying too hard. The background music matched the mood perfectly and made some scenes feel even more touching.
The acting was really strong too. The actors did a great job showing pain, loneliness, and hope in a very realistic way. It never felt overdramatic, which made the emotional moments hit harder.
For me, Pawane is not a perfect movie, which is why I would give it an 8.5/10, but it is still very memorable. It is emotional, beautifully made, and has a story that stays with you after it ends. If you like slow and meaningful Korean movies, then this one is definitely worth watching.

Some Goodbyes Stay Forever
I did not expect Once We Were Us to affect me this much. I started watching it thinking it would be another emotional romance film, but it turned out to be much deeper than that. It is not just about love, it is about timing, memories, regret, and the people we become after losing someone important. What I loved most about this movie is how realistic it feels. The characters do not act like perfect movie characters. They feel like real people carrying pain, confusion, and feelings they do not know how to express properly. Their chemistry feels natural, and even the quiet scenes say so much without needing too many words.
The movie has a very soft and melancholic atmosphere. Every scene feels beautiful in a simple way, especially with the cinematography and background music. There were moments where I had to pause because some scenes felt too real. It reminded me that sometimes the hardest part is not losing someone, but learning how to live with the memories they leave behind.
The acting was also one of the strongest parts of the movie. Both leads delivered their emotions so naturally that I never felt like I was watching acting. Their expressions alone were enough to show heartbreak, longing, and the pain of unfinished feelings.
What makes Once We Were Us special is that it does not try too hard to be dramatic. It is emotional in a quiet way, and that is what makes it hit even harder. It leaves you thinking about your own past, the people you once loved, and the things you wish you had said.
For me, this movie deserves a 9/10 because it is beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable. It is the kind of film that stays with you long after it ends.

Not bad if u want to watch short drama
The finale was genuinely satisfying. There was no unnecessary drama, and the story wrapped up neatly, with plenty of sweet moments between the leads and their side characters' plotlines being resolved as well. The K-drama felt like a cozy hug, especially in the last two episodes, where we saw the main couple truly in love, overcoming all their issues and backstory problems. The series, titled "ì°ì°ìŒêč?" ("Is It Fate?") in Korean, is centered around the themes of coincidence and destiny. From the start, itâs clear how intertwined Hoo Young and Hong Jooâs lives have been, with their paths crossing in ways they hadnât even realized. For some, the story might feel rushed, but thatâs part of its charmâits simplicity. The way Hoo Young and Hong Joo find and fall for each other through a series of coincidences, as if guided by fate, is what makes it beautifully touching. Even within the short span of 8 episodes, the series manages to explore the main plot and side characters thoroughly, presenting everything clearly without extreme highs and lows, making for a heartwarming watch!

Not better than S1 But let's hope for S3 to be good
Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 8 leaves us with more questions than answers. Chief Jiâs mystery feels childish in front of the Bamseom neohumans. Her husband turned and Hyun-su killed him to save Eun-yu. As for the tunnel thing, her son probably turned too and she feeds him symptomatic people like Seung-wan. She also probably wanted to feed Mrs. Oh to her hungry son. But why did she need Ye-seul to cut the lights? And is there something to Seon-hwaâs pretence and Peterâs shadiness? Chan-young and Ha-ni may show up at the stadium though, to take down Jiâs son and Tak if he loses control. We also get the answer as to why someone as deranged as Ui-myeong doesnât hurt Yi-kyung when she goes into labour. But this plot twist was possibly not thought of in season 1 which is why he treats her like a stranger at Green Home.
It also gives us a small explanation of why their kid is so powerful, she was possibly conceived when Ui-myeong had already started turning. It also seems that Ui-myeong convinced monster Hyun-su who had blue eyes in the mall in episode 1. This is why Hyun-su changed his mind when he came back to his human self after the car crash.
But there is one slow buildup we donât mind â the cocoon monsters. Like Mrs. Im and the Bamseom monsters, they can control their monsterization. This means Eun-hyuk is more or less himself but powerful. They really blindsided us by not adding Eun-hyukâs actor, Lee Do-hyun to the cast. Does this mean we will also get monster Ji-su in season 3? We donât see her die either. The Crow Platoon has grown on us too and hope they are not all dead.

A high school-to-adulthood unrequited love story
The script is tight, coherent. Beautifully sad and hopeful at the same time. The characters well rounded with very real problems based on actual contemporary issues, such as social classes and expectations based on gender, which makes it even more heartbreaking. You understand the decisions they are making are the best option for each other, even if it means being apart. Still, their love always makes them cheer for the other to become the best version of themselves.Sun Qian and Zhang Xin Chengâs chemistry in INSANE. Like, DAMN! Not once I didnât believe in their performances or the story they were telling me. They carried the entire film flawlessly. Bravo.
I enjoyed every single minute of this film right up to the end, which left me with a chuckle and the biggest smile.

Comfort movie ??
The movie is surely a familiar melodramatic stuff reminiscent of similar films such as âIrisâ (2001) and âStill Aliceâ (2015), but director/writer Jeong Jae-eun handles his story and characters with care and consideration. At one point, the movie makes a little fun of Ryokoâs most famous work which was incidentally inspired by her crumbling relationship with her ex-husband, but it respects her artistic passion and dedication nonetheless, and that is why it is often poignant to watch her struggle to write through whatever is still left inside her mind. Although her relationship with Chan-hae initially looks clichĂ©d, both of them are presented as human characters we can care about, and it is engaging to watch how their relationship is developed along the story. The lead performers of the movie support the movie well with their good performance. Miho Nakayama, a Japanese actress who has been fondly remembered by many audiences in Japan and South Korea for her charming performance in âLove Letterâ (1995), deftly handles a number of obligatory melodramatic moments in the film, and she is fabulous whenever she is required to express a lot of things via her beautiful face. On the opposite, Kim Jae-wook, a South Korean actor who has mainly worked in several South Korean TV dramas, is solid in his understated acting which effectively functions as the solid ground for his co-performerâs showier performance, and, as far as I heard from others, he did a fairly nice job of speaking Japanese with some necessary awkwardness as required.
Although it is not so different from many other neat Japanese melodrama films during recent years, âButterfly Sleepâ distinguishes itself to some degree via its interesting setting and sincere storytelling, and its overall result is both entertaining and touching enough for recommendation. It may be predictable, but this is a well-made movie packed with genuine feelings, and it certainly earns its tears in the end.
