I’m not a religious History series watcher so I only know that Trapped has a novel.

I’ve been skipping the second/third couple after a few episodes of watching. The main characters seems to be more fascinating in my opinion.

I Feel that it’s because the scene was being played in slow motion, which is why it didn’t catch up to the audio. My theory anyways.

It’s okay. I was very disappointed that they really had to taint a lovely dovey episode too

EXACTLY. I sort of feel bad that I don’t give two cents about the 2nd couple when the majority of this fandom adores them a lot. I feel this sense of need to like them too but I’m not drawn to them one bit. :/ I’m too stuck on Tangfei’s dick to be riding on another couple. As much as I hate to say this because I know it can get a lot of peeps triggered, I really wished they would have just stuck to the main leads, especially as you mentioned, there’s whole lot that the writer/director must resolve.
