Ohh good to hear you're watching KCE ^^ Do you like it so far? It's pretty random if you ask me but really nice, definitely an one of a kind drama :) I've been reluctant to watch the final episode even though there are 2 movie sequels because I don't want to finish it.
You're watching Jdrama's in order the learn the language? Wow, that must be pretty diccifult. They talk rather fast and with difficult terms too sometimes. I can kind of follow the most basic conversations and frequently used words like love, school, friends etc and some sentences but I can't say I'm really learning Japanese from watching the drama's xD Do you study Japanese or plan to go/have gone to Japan btw? ^^
I don't think Korean and Japanese will mix in your head, they sound really different in my opinion. Korean seems more... round(?) if you ask me xD

Can someone explain how Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Shut Up: Flower Boy Band and this drama are related?

In my opinion woman like drama's a lot more than guys do, idk why. They tend to like action or thriller movies a lot though... xD
Haha that might be true, since I like the subtle hints (regardless if they're meant like that or not) I tend to see more into small things and you who doesn't particulary like them won't see them as often as I do? :P Sounds logical to me :)

Since yesterday I've started watching Protect the Boss and Heartstrings, only after I found out one of my favo Korean singers is the main character of the drama xD Have you seen one of them? I doubt it though, since both are pretty romance filled :P

Omg this is not what I wanted. I just tried the 1st episode but is that annoying woman going to change her character soon? I tried to ignore it cause I usually don't like the female characters but she's eriously the most annoying character I've seen so far, my god. She's terribly arrogant, rude, bitchy, conceited and not even close to pretty. And as things look like both male's will fall for her in no time, won't they?... Sigh.
Is it worth continuing to watch this if I feel such disappointment after the 1st episode? I hope she'll change her attitude in the next episodes and that at least Jaejoong will fall for another girl in the end because a love triangle would be too cliche...

I like him a lot in Life if Beautiful, I would like to see him in other drama's but they're all so long... :)

Ahh hmm if you say it like that I kinda know what you mean. I don't know what kind of feeling the special gives but yeah, in my head they're still too different to agree :P I do agree they're both very unique and special in a good way :) Ahh well I would be surprised if your dad would've been a hardcore Jdrama/Kdrama fan, I think it's more a thing for females? Most people I know online are female :P

YTM was flowing over with hints if you ask me, I was literally gawking at my screen after episode 1 or 2 maybe, the ship was totally sailing without any help haha XD

I haven't seen the special yet but I don't think the drama and Cat's eye are all that similar, there's a lot more serious stuff going on in IWGP than in Cat's eye. They're both very entertaining though :)
Ohh wow, my parents are only into english detective and stuff like that, I don't like those at all so our tastes differ a lot I guess :P
Wooooww, wait, when did Otoya looked at Fujimaru while he was sleeping? I totally missed that moment, I would've gone crazy otherwise xD I do like bromance a lot, since there are close to zero drama's with actualy gays in it (I can only name 3) I guess sometimes I see too much into bromance/close friendship. Taro and Miura from Yamada Taro Monogatari were freaking hard dropping hints though, you can't deny that xD

[stupid char limit xD], that season 2 there is a lot less bromance than in the first one, for sure.
If you like bromance I highly recommend Ikebukuro West Gate Park, if you haven't seen it yet. When you watch it (must) or already seen it tell me what you think? ^^ Also, Takashi (aka "King") is an amazing character, one of my top favorites. He's awesome and insane at the same time :D

Anyway yeah, female characters are horrible most of the time, they spoil the entire drama with their whining and useless character. I'm very easily annoyed by them so I have a hard time finding a romantic drama I can stand xD I liked Buzzer Beat though, the female main char was good and normal most of the time though the girlfriend of the male main char [at the begin of the drama] was incredibly annoying and bitchy. Sigh xD

Hmm you do make it very tempting to watch it, I think I will, Sakurai Sho plays in it after all. I think I'm hooked on his smirk, it should be illegal to look that way xD
Omo, I love Kisarazu Cats Eye. It's my first drama with Sakurai and I became a big fan of Bussan though I've only seen 1 other drama (Tiger & Dragon) with him, Bussan seemed to be his destined role if you ask me :) I can't get myself to complete the drama, it's too sad to end it even though there are 2 sequel movies.
You watch drama's with your mom? That's great, mine is hardly interested in what I'm doing on the internet at all :P Though it would be awkward if she would react the same way I did to some actors... haha :)
I didn't think Fujimaru and Otoya were really that gay? Taro x Miura are so much more shipping themselves if you ask me :P But maybe you're right, it's been a while since I've seen season 1 but I think,

Can someone explain just what the drama is about? I'm getting a little tired of "it's just amazing" commnents, I just want to know if it's about their love life, pursuing a music career or whatever. Or isn't there a clear story line, like a slice of life drama?

Lol, your 2 recommendations seem really random, I might try them ^^ I'm currently watching Unubore Deka and Bloody Monday 2 and a few other ones but I'm the type of person to watch 1 serie the whole evening :P What drama's are you watching?
If you want a random drama (just one episode though) try Shaken Baby. The first part is silly but funny but the 2nd part isn't all that good, it's a crazy and random one shot though xD

Btw I see you finished Battle Royale, how is it? The summary seems interesting so I was thinking of watching it some time soon.

Ahh okay.. I trust you and give up on the idea of watching the 1st season :) I'm glad I started with the 2nd season, I might've given up on watching the 2nd if I would've watched the 1st season first.
I've seen Maou a few times on MDL but I don't like the picture at all so I haven't watched it, I know it's bad to judge a serie based on the picture but yeah.. if it doesn't appeal me at all I'm not very motivated to check it out :P I've read a few reviews and seen some comments from fans and it sounds very good though, I think I'll put it on my plan to watch list ^^
Kamisama no Karute is already on my plan to watch list if I'm right, I'm planning on watching it this weekend, I want to watch it when I can appriceate it at my fullest and not when I'm supposed to do hw :)

Idk about Nazotoki, I might try it. I don't like the spoiled oujo-sama char at all but for Sakurai I might try it XD

I haven't matched more than half of the first episode, I might give it another try now I have finshed season 2 but I doubt I'll like it after seeing season 1 xD
I've already looked at his list of tv/movie roles and I'm thinking of watching Monsters, Tokio, Kamisama no Karute and I'm currently watching Yamado Taro Monogatari :)
Hmm besides those I really like psychological drama's, ones like The Quiz Show 2 (the plot is really good if you ask me) and Orthros no Inu. I tend to enjoy action drama's like Bloody Monday and MW too so I actually like every genre except the butler with the rich oujo-sama kind of plot :P

Yeah I loved him in The Quiz Show 2, he played the role of MC Kamiya so amzingly well I can't bring myself to watch season 1, I dislike the MC too much, comparing him with Sakurai :P Do you have some recommendations for me? I'm looking for a new awesome/mindblowing drama ^^
