I just rewatched ep12. And I don't think KMY's mom killed MGT's mom. Because ... There are 4 EPs left. I just…
OMG YEAAA I think they’re siblings too cause in episode 12 the older bro/MAT was like “we look alike” to KMY and then in the other episode the KMY’s mom made it seem like she was also his mom
yeaa, u hv to keep watching it n they will slowly unfold stuff in each episodes
Ok, I finished episode 12, can you give me the spoiler you were going to give cause I’m curious to what you were going to say that would me like the drama lol
yeaa, u hv to keep watching it n they will slowly unfold stuff in each episodes
Yea I’m on episode 6 now and I feel like it’s not getting any better?? She practically took advantage of her brother to stay with her and got them in a fight :(
I’m on episode 3, and all I have to say is that this drama is so strange. Like everything about it is strange, especially the mail female lead. I still don’t understand what the plot is supposed to be but it is interesting so hopefully it makes more sense
I ALWAYS watch ROMANCE based dramas but decided to give this a try. I thought this was going to be an innocent…
1. The OST really was empowering asf, I got chills when they came on and really emphasized the drama
2. The tutor made me want to chuck my phone and literally had me saying she’s such a b*tch cause she really out there running families. I get that the families had their own problems but she add fuel to the fire and made everything bigger and go up in flames. Horrifying that she tried to kill her husband and wasn’t punished for it in the beginning, and the fact that her daughter became the way because of her is sad. I don’t know how she can even face her daughter cause even before the accident she treated her like a trophy that needed to study a lot.
3. Na, I don’t care what anyone says but I never felt bad for her at all. If she just stayed out of everyone’s business and wasn’t do calculation and manipulative then I would have probably liked her. The fact that she used and toyed with Woo Joos feelings just to anger Ye Seo is terrible. Especially since Woo Joo really liked her and she lead him and treated him horribly. Also Hye Na should have known better but to be honest with the father cause I thought she resented him for not being there but now she’s doing all this for his attention? Keeping it a secret for a long time to only be revealed later is not a good idea, Hye Na’s real father should’ve been the first to know about everything but then I again can’t control what the writers write lol
4. I REALLY wanted the first twin that was also in Itaewon Class as the chairman’s son to swoop in Ye Seos life and be her night and shining armor while she deals with Woo Joo going after a girl that doesn’t even like him. They’d be such a cute couple, I was hoping the romance would blossom?
5. No offense but Ye Bin was kind of annoying, I think it’s just weird that she would even want to sleep with her tutor and go on vacation with her :/ I get that Hye Na is her half sister but Ye bin doesn’t know that, Ye Bin opened her life to Hye Na so easily which was kind of weird to me but it was once again the writers way so ignore me lol
6. The mom of the twins was probably the only one I liked in the end, the rest still annoyed me. She took action to get what she wanted from her husband and all her kids adore her.
7. The dads were hilarious, especially when we see the twins dad trying to learn how to dance from her daughter?
8. The ending with Woo Joo wanting to explore and find himself was weird to me but Ig it’s normal to some places according to this comment section. But Ye Seo also wanting to find out what she wanted was also weird because it really seemed like she genuinely wanted to follow in her fathers footsteps but I guess not.
There’s so much more I want to say BUT overall, this taught me that you should really follow what you want to do despite what everyone says and really stick up for yourself. It’s a given that there is more to life than just studying, but you really gotta take the time to enjoy things you genuinely are interested in and like. I’m going to be a freshman in college and I’m excited to explore myself during that time (if quarantine ends?) and this was the perfect drama to reassure me that I have control over my own life instead of my parents making my every move ?
I ALWAYS watch ROMANCE based dramas but decided to give this a try. I thought this was going to be an innocent drama about rich ppl but sh*t went down fast. The first episode was bland up until the end when something unexpected happens which made me go to episode 2 when more things were revealed and it got pretty dark pretty fast. I’d rate this drama 9.5/10, read spoilers below for my thoughts :)
I’d give this a 8/10 only because it was hilarious with the weird reporter dude and his moments with who he calls Jackson. This drama also helped me get over a drama I really loved that I finished lol. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for a super lighthearted romance :)
I’d give this drama 8/10 (maybe lower? Idk not good at eating things lol). The beginning was hilarious and lighthearted…
MAJOR SPOILERS (pls don’t attack me for my opinion)
1. I thought it would mostly revolve around him in the widows village, I loved seeing him Cross dress as a girl cause you don’t see that in dramas, it’s usually a girl cross dressing as a boy. But ofc they burned down the widows village so that whole concept was gone and it made me sad
2. The reasoning for the king wanting to kill his own son still never got through my had. I get that he really believed in that prophecy and how in historical kdramas they are a big deal but he could’ve done a lot of other things to prevent it. Like he could’ve raised him to not be that way under his and the queens loving care. The king himself said that he feared his father when his father was a king and he could’ve done something to make a strong bond and relationship with his son with trust and such.
3. Nokdu’s little brother that was working with Neungyang. I still didn’t really understand his motive for it or I was just blindsided by the fact that his little brother would never do such a thing and would want Nokdu to die. Like it I guess he really did want him to die and live a lavish life with his father but his father talked him out of it when he got hurt. It just bothers me that he really was going to betray Nokdu
4. Neungyang actually becoming king. I’ve read this in other comments that he really can try to go find Nokdu and kill him. He knows he’s alive and might get paranoid that he’ll want the throne. I just think that him ending with the throne sucks. I get that he’ll suffer through loneliness but he already was lonely, he’s just going to have more power. Also hated the fact that he ordered the widows village to be attacked and killed off a little boy.
5. The misunderstanding of the prophecy. Nokdu and Neungyang were both born on the same day and the prophecy was meant that Neungyang would overthrow the kind, not Nokdu. I just don’t really get why he couldn’t see that when his son came back that he wasn’t after the throne. Nokdu has no intentions for claiming the throne and there are so many people that could see that. I get that the kind was so delusional but Nokdu would’ve killed the king if he really wanted him dead and had so many opportunities to do it.
Final thoughts, it was super cute, the romance was good! The plot twist with Neungyang actually being a twisted psychotic dude really did get me cause I thought he was just going to be this sad innocent second lead that doesn’t get the girl in the end. Disappointed to not see more of them being in the widows village since it was gone but glad some of the characters made their appearances. A lot of bloodshed could’ve been saved if Nokdu didn’t go and fight agains Neungyang in the last few episodes cause in the end he didn’t want the throne and Neungyang got the throne. I just wish the ending was a bit more satisfying and that the plot summary wasn’t deceiving cause I really thought this would be a lighthearted drama about a dude cross dressing as a girl but overcome it for super serious and stopped his cross dressing up until like the last episode lol.
I’d give this drama 8/10 (maybe lower? Idk not good at eating things lol). The beginning was hilarious and lighthearted , but don’t be fooled by that cause it does get a lot more serious as the story progresses. OST’s are good, I still have them stuck in my head! Read my spoilers below if you want to know why I gave what I gave.
