Where are you from? If you're asian it's obvious that k pop is famous.. Here in Italy there are people who watch drama and listen to K pop but it isn't well known in the country.. If you watch TV (for example MTV)you won't see Asian song but only Italian and English songs.. (but from this years it seems that Italy is trying to open the door to K pop music by transmitting Big Bang and the song Oppa Gangnam style) ^^

But in my country (Italy) asian music and drama are not very famous.. you can't see korean songs in the TV :)
