Oh god, i did exactly the same. The sword and the brocade was seriously too heavy for me. I don't do good with female conspiracy theories and melodrama like fighting over a man and stuff. I wanted a good story where the romance isn't the only focus. But this show exceeded my expectations. The mild flirting scenes and small gestures are what I am living for at this moment XD

People are sleeping on this masterpiece. The chemistry between the leads is excellent and the story is progressing in a very good way. I wasn't expecting anything much but now I am hooked!!

such an intriguing storyline!! The actors are so good and the script is well written. They have paid attention to details and nothing is rushed or dragged. It deserves a lot more attention !!!

Ma Hong Jun's character is quite intriguing in the live action. The kid is a really good actor plus the visual effects are top notch!

I am in love with the BGM of this drama. I just finished episode 3 and it's getting better and better. They have so much chemistry and the FL is so cute. Plus the cinematography and BGM is so different from other C Dramas. It gives a completely magical vibe <3

She is a nice actress and you can notice that from the start. her character is chirpy and bubbly but it isn't annoying to watch. The PD team really picked out gems for this show.

Yeah it literally looked like a movie. The opening scene was so good where the transition of weather is shown with Tang San's daily routines. They really worked hard in every aspect to give justice to the donghua and novel.

I loved the first episode. The cinematography is really good and the pace is appropriate. Xiao Zhan nailed it. You can no longer see his previous image in the character. It was worth the wait and hype. I am looking forward to the story and character development. Also it's really a sin to be so good looking Xiao Zhan. You were literally wearing rags and still looked so good ;p

Tencent is really testing our patience. I hope it airs on 10th.

A new update is showing on dramacool.ae that the first episode of TOoL is scheduled for January 10.

i had the same concern but i guess it will be fansubbed and we won't have to wait for the official subs.
