This series had so much potential but instead we got a huge advertisement with a little bromance thrown in. For me, the worst part is abandoning what made my love mix up so charming in its original source material. This version removed the chaotic humor that my love mix up needs. It’s sad because fourth is a naturally funny person and I was thrilled to get him in this cast because I’d believed he would have brought what this role needed. Instead he bland, his “funny” moments weren’t even funny and it all get more like a bromance. I was really looking forward to this drama, I stuck through it and watched every single week hoping for a glimpse of what was in the beloved source material. I’ve also never seen a show that had THIS much advertising in it. It really seemed like that was their only goal and because of that the series plot suffered. the only redeeming quality was the second couple.
I feel so conflicted. it’s hard not to compare this to addicted or stay with me. they seem to have taken pops character and made him so weak compared to the other adaptations. I’m trying to separate it but it’s hard to.
I did. for some reason my vlc player won’t play their files (I’m pretty sure it’s a my computer issues) so I’ve been using the other subnet who has links you can watch but they haven’t updated yet. I wish I could get the other files to work 😭😭
also when he showed up with birdwatching as his idea and his outfit…. he is just so adorable.
it’s played up a little more in the series but yes. it’s pretty true to character. I personally think he was really sheltered and somewhat on the autism spectrum. it felt that when reading it, but it’s even more apparent in the series.
I'm scared for Ossan's Love now... I love EarthMix, so I hope Gmm will change the currently assigned director…
I feel the same I had high hopes for this because I KNOW fourth can be funny. like over the top funny and that’s what my love mix up needs… and that just didn’t happen.
there is something to be said about a really cute, heartwarming, easygoing series. I loved the manga and I love this adaptation. sometimes we just need stuff like this.
