For Long Zhi I think aside from the jealousy and envy (since she fell for JD but he does not love her) her other motive is the fact that she is part of the 4 powerful families who control everything and are greedy for more. They are doing all this becus of their inability to control Liu Xi.

Excuse my language; who the hell dropped the ratings? I had to catch up on the last 7 episodes thinking the drama started going downhill. I finished and the second half is keeping us on our toes and the pacing is still strong.

I hope she does not use filler on Chang Dong 🥲 because with the way she easily told him everything she will not let him walk away with his memory intact.

I am intrigued to find out more for sure, I also thought she might be from the past or she dies and comes back to life. So may questions, the snake tattoo on her hand was also moving and then the branding scar on her leg

I am surprised many people are not watching this, I am currently on episode 6 and things are starting to get more creepy. My thinking is that they both died but came back to life.

I hope more people give this a try, it is actually really good. I for one would not have watched it because ML looked older than FL but I saw a post on Reddit and people kept saying it was a good drama. And I was pleasantly surprised, I personally love the strong intelligent FL trope so it's right up my alley. I also found that both ML and FL blended well on screen and have great chemistry. Their looks were no longer an issue for me. So far so good no dull moments and I am loving the interactions between the FL and ML.

Started this a couple of days ago, binged it and now all caught up. I really love it

I will surely read the novel once season 1 is completed. The excerpts I have been seeing from the novel are mouthwatering. I know the novel will do the scenes justice with the detailed explanations and the meaning being conveyed.
