I'm on EP two and I'm tempted to put the director on my do not watch list. Why is this so freaking bad. All the acting feels forced and the humor is unintelligent. I was really excited about this one as a fan of jaechan but tbh I feel like it's a waste of time to watch any more.

I saw a video of him talking to soldiers during the martial law incident and I had to find him. I hope he is successful in life.

You are being disingenuous right now. You know that has nothing to do with the current conversation. Look I understand you want to protect a drama you like from any hate I get it. I'm just saying I don't believe it to be unreasonable to have a problem with that scene. If you have something genuine and well thought out to say please do. I don't tell gay people how to act but I'll sure as hell say when I feel like an actor doesn't know what he's doing. This isn't reality you can say both actors are acting but also how dare you tell gay people what to do. And as a queer person myself the acting in this felt fake and not like me and my friends. The story however I'm sure was based in reality.

I think the production team can learn and grow from this. Simply dismissing people feelings doesn't work when you are making dramas to attract people. They did well by apologizing.

It's toxic in real life tho lol and this guy isn't gonna stay toxic either there probably gonna be a super romantic reason he acts like he does like he's doing it all to protect her and stuff. It's the same thing which is why I recommend it. Foe is my favorite drama that I've seen over and over again so please don't think I'm trying to hate on it.

He eventually turns it around just like I assume this show will soon, as they have already started laying the ground work for that~

To defend the drama a little bit I'll say that I think that their point was to show the disrespect she receives daily from her very important work being looked down upon. However I think this comments section is proof in itself that the message wasn't clear because all I see is people saying how it isn't a big deal and that people are wrong to be offended. I think it would have gone better if they had made more of a point to show that it was wrong of them to make fun of her instead of having her almost lean into it at the end.
