well... where shall i start?? i was really excited to binge on this one right after the final episode was aired... i dodged all of the spoilers on my social media feeds, and now, i got to finally watch it...
actually i expected a lot from this drama (my bad :(), the plot was great, the casting was refreshing and it is my favorite genre of all dramas but sadly i was lost half way through the episodes, i sort of pushed through the latter part of the drama...
i was all in with the whole "manhwa concept" plus its comedic side (everytime Dan Oh and Do Hwa complains to the writer/author about their frustrations XD)... and i also strongly agree on how they portrayed the cliché side of manhwas (especially the romance genre) it's just that the progression of the drama and all of the character's development felt too draggy for me (especially Joo Da, OMG i can't even with this girl)... my only consolation would be the ending, it was sufficient in my opinion (i mean, basing it with the progression of the drama, i can't think of a better ending)...
OMG Soo Hyun’s storyline in episode 7...I was not ready!!
at first i thought she was just a roommate, but then she keeps on popping up everywhere...so i was like... maybe she was like an alter ego of some sort... but d*mn... i was so wrong... XD
it was my fault to expect a lot on the romance department in this drama while it clearly states that there are no romance on the genre tags >3< ... but over all it was a great family drama with a great ending!!!
No worries, the ending for HDL is clear with closure, even if they might seem to be hinting for a 2nd season they'd…
IKR!!! as i am a binge watcher and i can't take waiting for another season right after i watch the first, i prefer waiting for the whole series to end, and what i hate the most is that SPOILERS are everywhere by the time i'm still waiting TT_TT thank heavens for this reply.. i'll watch HDL with a peace of mind ❤❤❤
i should've been patient... i shouldn't have let the binge watcher in me let loose... if i knew that this would be a series kind of thing i would've waited a bit more before i watched the whole season....
is the ending as open as love alarm??? like signaling for season 2 kind of thing... because i'm starting to hate netflix for this ... would anyone tell me, so if it is, i would just wait for the whole series to end before i watch HDL... if not i'll watch it RIGHT NOW....
i should've been patient... i knew netflix would do this but the binge watcher in me can't hold the urge to pull an all nighter with this series... i'm done with the first season and now i read somewhere that i have to wait another year for the second season... why?! WHY?! TT_TT
currently on ep 19 and struggling... every episode is just frustrating >_< (in a good way... i think???) i really feel bad for the two leads TT_TT and that reporter MY GOSH!!!
I just finished episode 4. It is quite heavy and just when you think you cannot take it anymore there is a funny…
just finished the 20 episodes of this drama including the special and i became a fan indeed... thank you for your strong recommendation... i've never encountered any drama like this... most of the heavy dramas i know focuses on tear-jerkers and serious scenes... in contrast this drama has the right balance between drama and comedy... i came to love every character in this drama, including the annoying ones ahaha ^^ ... i can definitely say that it will take long for me to forget this one... ♥♥♥

did exactly what you told, although it took me days to just prepare myself (i tend to binge watch, so preparation is a must)... now i'm on episode 5... i think i could still do more episodes...
my go-to dramas are actually RomComs, so this is not actually my cup of tea, but recently all of the variety shows that i've been watching are either mentioning or making some skits about this drama, which i can't relate to, that's why i thought i need to do some homework... so i've made up my mind, and i'll try to finish this one... i hope it's not too heavy for my taste...
GREAT plot, GREAT casts, GREAT story flow... that ending though... all i could do is to bitterly laugh at the few minutes left of the last episode for its final closure...
Did I miss something or did they never reveal who last tossed that coin at the toll booth?
i think that it was a representation that someone got another second chance in his/her life... and neither of the main characters were affected by this second chance...

great concept though... could've been better...
