All her family was killed by her father who run wild because of Jin Mu. And then the mages , especifically Park Jin, killed his father Cho Chong, who died petrified.

Heo said only two people had reached Hwansu. One was Master Seo and the other... he didnt said. Then Park Dang gu asked who and Heo said he will not who he was. After this we discovered that the other guy was Master Lee. Now three years passed and we know that Uk has reached Hwansu as well throught ice stone´s power.
One thing I am confused. In Daeho, Can everyone learn magic / become mages? or Only people from mage families…
There are many mage families in Daeho. There are eleven families that are powerful and they form the counsil. And there are the most powerful ones : Seo, Park, Jang and Jin . But i understand that mages can be trained. Its not very clear from part one if they can.

And i must add a thing ( i could be wrong you all tell me): She is/was not this 'most powerful priestess' in the world as Jin Seolran. Jin Mu told us in part one: She was a brilliant child, she COULD be the most powerful priestess when grown up. And now in part 2 Park Jin said the same in differente lines: She could have been a greatest priestess. Also in part one Mama Jin (when was searching for her missing child) said that if she is alive she could be without powers because of the non training and when she return to Jinyowon she will regain powers and learn how to use it (if im not wrong).
So what im trying to say is the plot is leading to saving Daeho from the drought or/and ice stone destruction and they must need the: Bu Yeon´s priestess power + Naksu´s great mage energy and Uk´s King´s star energy combined to the execute the ritual.
