This show has so many male characters who are shown powerful mages and ruler but still I feel this show lacks…
oh. i dont follow you in this, in contrary i think they all have great personalities. Theyre complex with many sides. Sometimes support actors are so superficial we barely see more dimensions or their personal lifes, they just just float around protagonists. Of course in AoS theyre supporting the lead and we are following the leads stories but for me its pretty good. They all have comic side because the writers have adding comedy into scenes. The ML and FL also have many comic scenes if not the ones that have the most. At the same time CP is funny and teases Mudeok he is smart and discover things very fast. Im hoping he already became suspicious of Jin Mu. Same for Park Jin who have light scenes with Kim Do Ju and Master Lee but is a Leader and already is alert about Jin Mu.
About the story i dont think we will have a " impactful male character" that could be a competitor to the ML. He is pre destined to be the great mage of Daeho. We could have an antagonist, and for now is Jin Mu. We also have Yul, but lets see how the story unfold.
How I wish it will be our lead couple's future! Not sure Cheonbugwan allows females but it's really destined back…
