I guess it all depends on if they are turned on by it. I get this weird vibe that the Jay actor is fully into it and the Sun actor is a bit less into it... even if he is acting "naive" per the storyline the vibe didn't feel nearly the same to me. I truly think it would be hard to have that much skin to skin and not be turned on regardless of being straight or gay. I am straight and if a woman was rubbing all over me I think I might be very turned on.

My only complaint is what am I going to do after this show is over? LOL please make more like this haha... This is not just any NC scene it had it all. I've watched plenty of every rated adult content and this was simply FIRE!

I know the NC scene was chef's kiss. I know some might think it's outright corn but the truth is it really felt like them making love not just banging. That's what got me. I have seen plenty of NC in my 42 yrs but it was FIRE! His voice is something that grabs you instantly.

Yeah I didn't come in with high expectations because the storyline didn't interest me but I had nothing else to watch and it's ZLH and WC --- well it was so cringe.. the direction is all over the place, dubbing instantly felt overboard and loud. The production quality instantly feels like vertical short dramas. I am not a hater. If it isn't good, it isn't good!

Yeah what a waste of the 2 leads. They are both amazing actors in their own right. I wonder what they both thought doing this. Is this an episode of "punk'd"

Yeah vertical dramas are better because at least we know what we are getting and don't expect more. In this case it instantly felt "vertical drama"... I didn't go into this with high expectations either. I didn't like the storyline from the trailers but I love ZLH and WC.

I got an ad saying to buy for the finale already on IQIYI so I found that strange. They usually do the the last couple weeks of an airing.

They overhyped it because that is what they are supposed to do but I was honestly never interested in it. I could tell from the trailers it just felt off in comparison. Maybe we will get better ZLH dramas next year once they see what works for success.

I will be honest, I was never interested in this drama. The storyline never pulled me in to want to watch it but I am in a drama slump and turned it on. To me it is all over the place instantly. And the cinematography does feel like short form drama. I am a ZLH fan since my first ever Cdrama was Pursuit of Jade which of course sets a pretty high bar. I also LOVE WC. Instantly I felt like this was super LOW budget as well. It has that "vertical" drama swipe up for the next part storyline almost. The costumes, the supporting cast even the storyline just feels cheap like Vertical dramas---which I watch occasionally if I am bored or interested in a quick watch but for ZLH and WC to do it it's cringe honestly.

I watch a BL every so often and I caught it immediately! Although it is less so the further in. It was not intended to but for some reasons how WC Looked at him and his soccer tag on his bag was sooooo BL. To be honest I'm a bit annoyed with this SL. It appears they had a childhood friendship and connection but it was forgotten by xinshu and WC is holding the most hideous of grudges, meanwhile poor xinshu has the crappiest non parent and suffered greatly meanwhile WC is over here oblivious and hating on the sweet XINSHU. To Me it's just not well written because who doesn't catch the drift that Xinshu means no ill will to WC and if he forgot something it's obvious that it wasn't on purpose!!!!!!!!! My one gripe about sloppy writing is when they carry it on too long without a satisfactory reason. If there is a misunderstanding then please just explain it and not stretch it 15+ episodes!

I agree, they made her too naive. But nevertheless I still liked it. Just wish she would have shown a bit more intelligence. Lol

I was sad to immediately notice it was dubbed. 😭 I'm actually here for the ML. I remember him in another drama was looking for him in a ML role.

She wasn't even an ex. Just the chef he used for his restaurant to cook the stolen recipes. She wasn't a love interest to anyone.

I loved this show but yes he was unbelievably irritating. Like they can make him annoying but his rants were over the top. I wish they would have at least made the rants shorter. Lol 🤣 I found myself sympathetic but also very annoyed. Alos one part they seemed to not really connect was if he sucks and wanted someone to congratulate him for success, then why not become someone worthy of success. That part was annoying. I guess in the end what I got out of it was wee all need someone to support us even if we are annoying turds. If you have literally No one it is a cold depressing existence. I think the real takeaway for me. I connected to this as a loner.

I've often thought that too. Some are just plain unnecessary and the drama would be better. I fast forward through couples or storylines I think are boring.

From the main trailer it looks like it gets more interesting in the later episodes. I found that it wasn't that great in the first 4 episodes but know they are trying to build a case for the "enemies to friends to lovers"
