For God's sake, is Lee Joon Gi the ONLY actor who can star in historical dramas in Korea? He is boring, it would have been better if Kang Ha Neul got the main role, that man looks amazing.
What's up with Japanese and their need to release every year at least a couple of "women above 35 who still haven't got married but should" dramas? It's getting boring! -.-
I honestly hope this doesn't become a trend to mix other races in Koreans dramas as leads....I swear I'd stop…
To be honest, when I watch Asian dramas I prefer that there are no foreign actors as leads in them, because they are often represented in a hilariously ridiculous way; additionally, I also do not like Asian dramas which take place outside Asia... not because I'm racist, I just love emerging myself into an Asian dramaworld and its culture, it is like a fantasy. There are exceptions though, for example, I didn't mind that in Love Me If You Dare.
All I'm trying to say that I kinda get what Elai is trying to say, she just obviously cannot express herself properly so she came out as racist. That being said, I personally think that "Dramaworld" is a great idea even though I'll never watch it cuz it is not my cup of tea. There is a huge variety of drama genres for everyone to pick and choose.
