Not really, the majority of the cutesy ones do not have any major or serious topics in them. It doesn't mean that they shouldn't be enjoyed though, that wasn't my intention to say. However, expecting of this drama to turn into Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and then rating it 1 for not doing so is just plain dumb.
Anyway, what I really love about this drama is that they are bold to show the negative aspects of military service including the PTSD, which is really considered a taboo in Korea. So kudos for that to the makers of this drama.
Seriously, if you're not into dark dramas with deeper themes just stick to your usual cute and romantic and shallow dramas, there are plenty of them. I don't get the people who start watching this expecting some cutesy romance and then rate it 1, stop doing that ffs.

Yeah, there's a scene in which one of the twins reprimands the other, also the showering scene in which one of them is not stuttering... it's obvious he's pretending, working in the background while the mentally ill one takes the blame (the cat murders)
