I think the issue with live action anything, particularly in Japan, is they try to copy the visuals of the manga/anime…
Yeah but if they don't copy then the fans scream "it's not the same!!!" :D
It's people who should tone down their expectations, anime/manga and live adaptations can never be the same but it doesn't mean they can't be enjoyable.
Guys, this is a SEQUEL, not the remake. It is based on the official sequel manga by the same author who did HYD. It's completely pointless to keep saying "this does not look like HYD" because it isn't even supposed to look like it. It is a new story with new characters and a slightly different plot.
Will be interesting to see if they can keep up with the Korean masterpiece.
It's unrealistic to compare them. Korea and Japan are two completely different cultures and they even approach differently drama making. If you are going to watch this version while comparing it to the original you will be doing a disservice not only to the drama but to yourself too.
Wow, Shi Hyun and Tae Hee have like 0 chemistry... I don't think I'll rate this drama more than 7. And are we even going to get the "climax" aka breaking Tae Hee's heart? This is so boring.
