I'm not talking about architecture, I'm talking about the interactions between prisoners, and the consequences of them. Whether they use one or two toilets doesn't matter if someone intends to attack and/or rape. That's why I feel that this drama would be extremely underwhelming, especially if they approach everything in a humorous and bromance style. That doesn't have anything to do with the level of development, every jail is a shithole. I just saw people calling this drama cute, and I get it that the tv producers are not brave enough to show the realistic aspect of life in jail, but I still can't watch it for its 'cuteness'. I watched Rectify, so I feel that Prison Playbook would feel like a weird parody after it.

Thanks for the info! It's just as I thought, I don't think they're brave enough to show the real hardships that prisoners go through (rapes, beatings, guard corruption etc)... I'm not sure I'd like to watch a light version of it, I'd probably think all the time "oh how unrealistic".
