I completely had no clue who was he, until I saw Goo Dong-Mae. That was it, no turning back after that. Wish I could have tried one of his dishes at Coffee&Friends, such an awesome place to have something tasty with great company.
I didn't read her books yet...are they really that good?
Sadly that's the case. I started with classic literature and still discover so many good books from classic authors. The contemporary literature is a bit dull, but I've found good sci-fi authors, as well as some remarkable mystery/detective ones like P.D. James. I tried reading what most teens are hooked to, but even some best sellers don't convince me at all. Some Oscar Wilde's classics could also fit as comedy in this k.drama word. I was almost figuring out how Lady Windemere's Fan would look like.

BTW, if you liked Twilight and never ever touched a classic like Austen...you've been missing a whole universe. I couldn't even finish 1st chapter of Meyer´s first book because that lady really has no clue how to write a book. Too bad young generations ignore good literature and just pick up what ever is "hot".

Austen's books are no cheesy, but romantic in the full sense of that word. Her characters have a great development with the story and her critics towards fake society standards are just spot on. So many movies and series have taken inspiration in her characters, that's why she is a MUST for any reader.
The moment I read the tittle Jane Austen books came into my mind.
Even male readers put some Austen books on their lists. My other choice would be Elizabeth Gaskell's books. A k-drama version of North and South would be just awesome.
PLEASE!!!!
