3-Iron was a very beautiful, original and surreal experience. I'm happy you appreciate it too. I wish to have that kind of silent, spiritual relationship with a woman, preferably *faints* Son Ye Jin. How did you interpret the ending? People believe he was executed after being escorted down the long corridor in prison. I want to believe he's alive :D

Love the idea of breaking into houses to sleep, eat, wear other people's pyjamas... and repaying the debt with chores around the house, such as - burying dead bodies! Okay, maybe I don't love *that* idea. We should leave our doors open more often...

Secret - His father lives on in the new world and his wife gives birth to a baby girl. Jay Chou's character remembers everything and he looks out for his family from afar. The world he left is disconnected and gone forever :D

Your theories describe the average teenager in England - alien, tentacles, brain damaged and a substance abuser. Teenagers could be the same in Korea. Therefore, Kim Tan is a normal teenager and we should compliment Mr.Lee for his soulless, peculiar performance. Kim Eun Sook isn't known for writing charming men or boys... She's a fan of stalkers, I think.

Xianglun travels back to a time before Xiaoyu's graduation (maybe 21 years to 1978? *shrug*) when she wasn't lovesick, a time before she knew about the secret! That's why Xiaoyu appears happier (but alone...) She doesn't know him but she clearly thinks he's HOT :D He was able to travel beyond 20 years because of his superior piano skills under pressure. Helped by the demolition of the piano room, he played the piece faster and travelled further back in time (There isn't an official
explanation...) He'll save her from depression, meds, loneliness, lovesickness and the asthma attack. His father seemed to have a heart attack before his son left T_T Nevertheless, HAPPY-ISH ENDING. YAAAY!!

Helpless - Bumping this up to a 7. Save it for a mood where you want to explore the dark side of...humanity, it'll send a few shivers down your spine, guaranteed. Good acting and directing, and fast-paced. The trailer I watched wasn't too misleading. Try it :)

Ah, Moon Chae Won! Glasses really suit her. She was amazing in The Princess' Man. If your fav actresses are the 3 at the top, who's the girl above MCW? She looks familiar too, they all do! At this rate I'll be asking "who *is* that girl?" every time I leave a comment...

As for Michelle Yeoh, Reign of Assassins is worth your time ;) The story was engaging, great action scenes, weird, fun and unpredictable. Marked it down to an 8 because Hsu Barbie was given a horrible role... other than that, I was pleasantly surprised.

Loved everything about Secret - the grand pianos, atmosphere, cinematography, acting, the ending... Let me know what you think, even if you're not impressed:)

Should you watch Afro Tanaka, expect an anticlimactic, peculiar ending. I want to believe that's Matsuda Shota's own hair, he's too cool.

Wow, thanks for the Old Boy summary! I'm kneeling on the floor as I type this, one hand covering my face as I sob uncontrollably in the depths of despair... The eating a living octopus thingie T_T I finally quit when prison guy attacked lover lady on the toilet !!! She beat him to his senses, and I felt relieved before fainting. And you say that lady was his daughter?! Saw the beginning of the tongue cutting scene after fast forwarding *faints*. The ending was PG hugging his daughter in the snow and judging from his face, he remembers everything, bad memories seemed to come flooding back. Well, it's certainly different.

Who's the girl with glasses in the pics above, she looks familiar? Michelle Yeoh stands out, and SYJ too ^_^

You should be wary! A word of caution, Afro Tanaka is... *whispers* a pervert, but he's lovable. You'll cheer for him to get a girlfriend. Impossible not to laugh thanks to the combination of Shota's serious face and the afro (it's not a wig) He deliberately overreacts with seriousness, that's his not so secret magic.

And he plays another weirdo in Don Quixote. I have a distant memory of watching the first episode last year while half asleep. I don't think the soul switching occurred in ep.1 and that's when things will get interesting :)

I have an uplifting question about the Korean movie Old Boy. Why was he kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years? I fainted after 20 minutes, it was TOO MUCH. Then I fast forwarded and passed out again. Several times. Sorry if that question is killing the Matsuda-Shota's-sexy-voice mood.

Yeah, Ep.1 of Long Love Letter was a total contrast to the rest. It suddenly turned into a bit of a survival horror (along with romance and a strong environmental message...), I can understand why you were mad :) Personally, I was hooked until the end. You missed out on giant alien spider thingies!! I'm not joking!
