They did cheat—they just didn't have sex because the sml stopped it. But you see their clothes scattered around the apartment, so they had at least undressed and kissed ect. Then you see them on the bed, where the sml apparently found his conscience after all, so they didn't end up having sex. But if you undress and kiss ect. thats cheating.

A flashback shows what happened: SFL and SML's clothes are scattered around the apartment, so they were likely fooling around (kissed ect.). You see them on the bed, but SML stops before they actually sleep together—and then the ML walks into the apartment and catches the two of them.. So yes they cheated.

A handsome gangster in his mid-30s who has never kissed anyone or had sex. I really wonder what is wrong with k-c drama screenwriters. It’s like that in almost every series. Sometimes it feels like satire or a parody.

The series was really good, I'm hoping for a second season.
