Okay, honestly, I really enjoyed the show. But the story line in the final ep, nooo! Come on people! Force a high school girl into marriage because the family company is in trouble?!! I was pissed tbh! "You'll have a comfortable life!" F you, cousin Angelo. How dare they spring this news on her on a stage? That's not how you treat a family member or whatever. I am really upset with this part of the story. Am glad Keifer finally showed up and they kissed. Not sure if we're getting a season 2, not sure if I want that at this point haha. I am just going to pretend Jay Jay tells her family to go scr*w themselves and fix their own problems, that Yuri accepts that he is not the one Jay Jay wants (coz let's be honest, he knows this) and that Jay Jay and Keifer develop their relationship and go to college together and are happy together. The end.
Okay, so I binge watched ep 1-7 and one thing stood out to me: both Jaemin and Su Hyeon never once asked Da On who HE wants to be with, who HE wants to date. How he feels etc. It's all about them, their possessiveness and obsession with him.
But weirdly enough they don't really want to date him in honest, because in the past Da On was interested in Su Hyeon, but Su Hyeon didn't pick up on that or act on it. And in the present (beginning of the series) Da On confessed to Jaemin and got rejected coldly.
I read so many comments about s*xual assaults and r*pes in this drama. The emotional pain and triggers would be…
So far it's 'only' been attempts (2), at the beginning of the series. But they are hinting at a bigger assault so to speak, that we haven't seen yet. Ep 22 aired today, nothing in that. But based on the previews I have seen online, we will find out soon. I am dreading it too. But honestly, the series is otherwise so incredibly amazing, seriously. Giggling and kicking my feet while watching, that kinda good. The ML is such an amazing character, the greenest of flags. Every episode tops the previous one. I can't decide for you if you should watch it, but if you want you can dm me and I can spoil you later the exact part if there is really a rape scene.
Yep it is that bad. The story is all over the place.
In my opinion.. most of the characters were very unlikable, even the leads at sone parts of the story. That made it hard to connect with them, to root for them, etc.
Honestly... that ending.. They should have made it less philosophical. I would have preferred to see Ryong turn back home with his daughter in a baby space suit. Unrealistic? Sure, but that goes for most of the series anyways, so what's one more whimsical plot move hahaha. But that would have been better than that last scene in space and then the beach scene. What a ride this was guys, we made it till the end! I will never look at news about space and the ISS the same again :)
Ugh.. I will keep watching and will definitely finish it next week... But. But. But. I think my biggest issue with this series I really don't like or feel for most of the characters. Tbh some of them I really dislike. I only keep watching because for some reason I want to see how this train wreck plays out. But it feels weird not to root for the leads, or any (ex) couple to be together at this point. I honestly feel none of these people should be in a relationship with each other. Oof, I even feel shocked admitting that myself. Have never felt this way about any other series I watched.
Honestly, I am enjoying this show a lot. Yes, it's messy but when the leads finally admitted they both like each other and started their dating era... Ahhh 🥰
I dont understand Fujisawa's anger. Man you dont even hug him or hold his hand. Who want to lives like that? You…
Same!! I honestly have a hard time blaming Nakarai for looking for physical contant from someone else. He is not in a real relationship with Fujisawa in my opinion. Let's be fair, they are no more than roommates
I bingewatched ep 1-8 in the past few days. Honestly, at first I was struggling with it, too many unlikable characters in my opinion, but after ep 4 it got better and ep 7 and 8 were really good! So I am looking forward to continuing this series this weekend.
