Knowing that the unedited ver has that subtle happy moments and such chemistry which the 2 don't know themselves, makes me really thrilled for the character growth and the sides we don't know in the upcoming episodes. Yay I just can't explain how excited and curious I got for a melodrama without any thriller lmao

Also, my engineering ass got hyped with Ung using Rotring Tech pen since ep 1 lolol
On Our Beloved Summer Dec 6, 2021
BTS V's song was played in an LP in Ung's working scene, right? (I'm not an Army but I do listen to KPOP, so I might be mistaken)

Anw, I'm sad Mr. Jang is only a guest role. I loved their dynamics

I enjoyed Encounter too. That long haired PBG was a treat. But even without that, it had a story that made me…
It's not slow paced in my opinion. I feel like a lot is happening in like 7 eps of a 16 ep series which can be quite messy in the long run. I think it's too fast paced for its own good, like throwing out all the problems too early and solve it near the end. lmao some would see it as slow paced since it has a looot of subplots which takes up screentime. Different stories are run simultaneously that can be quite distracting. I get the Encounter vibes with the plot as well; the pattern wasn't far off, the difference would be the subplots. I still want to see how they would end it all one by one, so I think it's still watchable.
On Now, We Are Breaking Up Dec 3, 2021
I'm still sticking here for the modern mature romance and visuals lol (also, what the dying wife would do to the cheating husband)
And I kinda enjoyed Encounter, so I think, I can stick for a while

Honestly, I love this one more since you really can't deny the decisions of the judges. They also made it a fun competition which I found lacking in SWF that has more tension (probably more on the editing lol) and script; I found it commendable since the contestants are teenagers. I just love how the 8 team masters balance everything out, fun while also having that strictness and tension.

I'll be looking forward for more episodes every tuesday yay (for eng sub in Viu)

This drama is so messy. I really need someone to explain the thriller part to me like I am a 4 year old... I am…
Ian Chase was the trigger and his brother (CJM) is the accomplice. Ian told the homeless man to put to practice what he wrote in the novel, then returned to US after giving the job to his brother. CJM led the man to the woman from the orpahanage and killed her, then CJM planned to kill him off but the homeless man killed the man he sent. Then the homeless man plotted to accuse CJM as the murderer, so he threatened him using Da jeong to kill himself and planted the fake suicide note. Now, he discovered that he has a twin

i wanted to watch this drama but wasn't sure, can anyone tell if its worth giving a shot.ps-i loved the previous…
If you liked the dramas of the main leads, you'll probably like it. Some viewers doesn't prefer slow burn and slight tropes so there are some who dropped this, but a lot liked it as well.
I, for one, loved this drama. I'd probably say, one of my faves. It has brilliant writing and cinematography, and the acting is superb as you know lol

It still doesn’t fix a bigger issue lying and lack of communication oh what was going on which could of been…
Oh thank you very much for voicing that out ❀ I agree lol they weren't set in a romantic relationship in the first place, they just found themselves in it. So they needed clarity

Is it just me or everytime Da Jung best friend (park eun ha) opened her mouth in this episode, I just wanted to…
For me, it was part of brilliant writing. The contrast between GY and her showed DJ's inner conflict, the angry and hurt side, and the understanding side. (The scene where they were sitting side by side was brilliant, it was also used before as contrast for the opinions about the kissing). It helps to reflect on your emotions when you see it physically. Like when someone gets angry for you, you become objective lol

Imo, the breakup was reasonable. They needed clarity in the first place. Voicing out to ask if you are allowed to stay and help a person, especially if he's always at death's door, is an assurance and acceptance that was needed. There was no certainty with how they started. They needed time off to see the situation objectively (even Da jeong) and to reflect on their own emotions. I mean, I wouldn't say I was happy with how they didn't talk it out in honesty when they were breaking up lol but they would be too perfect if they responded maturely even in that situation where they were too overwhelmed with emotions ('cause I wouldn't also if I were them hahaha). I am quite satisfied with how human was that time off, making mistakes and then talking it out with vulnerability.
All in all, breakup trope or not, it was well executed.

On the other hand, Chase's scene stuck to me. He said he wouldn't leave his brother alone, but then, his actions triggered his brother's end. Like, he pushed him to fend for himself. That's sad, man. What more trauma could he still shoulder?

PS. Ga young-ah was so mature today, especially infront of Young do lmao

Sigh they were doing good avoiding most tropes but had to do the breakup trope for the most silly reason
Nah. The logic was quite mature compared to other dramas. They already drew the line in the beginning but chose to not see it, and fell hard.
It was too late to fix the problem when they unconsciously dove into a relationship. Her mom was just an alarm telling them they crossed the line. If there was clarity from the start, they could have avoided the breakup even when her mom told him that because there would be assurance. And she knew that, that is why she was angry that she wasn't able to band aid some of his pains.
They know they were both cowards and greedy, that is why they are guilty towards each other. In reality, they were both afraid to get hurt and played safe, but now they are already in so deep.
The guilt, regret, inevitability and awareness of the leads made it different.
This was on par with the breakup of Doctor John

My eyes are sweating omgSuperb acting πŸ‘πŸ˜
The way she said she can't tell him to stay anymore because her mom said don't be sick to him. I can also feel the regret after indirectly implying that he's trash when they were breaking up. Like, she doesn't mean to but he just left like that 😭
My heart breaks for them

I think that was the most beautiful kiss I’ve seen in Kdrama.

Dang, Seo Hyun Jin's acting never disappoints πŸ’―I felt comforted in this ep
and her kiss scenes ❀ lol
Also, her meltdown portrayal this ep is so realistic. With the shaking and all that, even the aftermath embarrassment. Great way of showing proper handling of a trigger.

What does Ga Young have? And why did he marry her to 'treat' (help her through) it?
Since she was suicidal, she needed someone who can legally be her guardian and be with her 24/7. He can be updated by her psychiatrist, therapist, check her meds, and make sure she follows everything that is needed as her guardian. At the same time, be with her when she has suicidal thoughts.

I don't even care as much that we have to wait a week between the episodes - but they made a 1-year time skip?…
I'm not saying what Iksun did is right, but I think, she is suffering more now. Like, going abroad didn't work which was one of the cause of the breakup, she's sick, and she knows what she did was wrong and the breakup was her fault. If I were her, I would have a lot of regrets and guilt since it was shown how deeply attached she is still even after almost a year.
I would say, the 1 yr timeskip was sudden (tho it was hinted from the start and maybe we just waited weekly so it felt sudden lol) but it was needed as well for her character growth. You can't just change yourself like after a month, right? lol I already felt she had commitment problems since day 1
As for me, they can be together again after maturing separately and talking it out
