I think for the biggest thing is that at 50 yr old it's better to have subtle romance rather than full romance.…
Haha! That is hilarious. Pretty boys are nice to look at but so are handsome men. You'll realise that in time, and also that not every 50 (or even 60) year old goes to bed in pajamas.
Idk might be just me but felt the sex scenes were just awkward and would have been better without those. If not…
It could easily have been done without the blackmailers having a sex problem. What they need is money, and they accidentally hit on a way of extracting it from his friend then went from there. It makes sense to go after people having illicit affairs because of her position at the hotel and the things she sees.
The victim sex so far has been very funny, but when it comes to the blackmailers the tone changes and for my part I don't find it interesting, entertaining, or profound in any way, it's just time wasting. I find the tone shift awkward and their inability to have sex, despite feeling desire, unrealistic, especially given how much else they are doing together. Believe me, a married couple finds it pretty easy, even when no longer in the throes of heady romance.
The only thing wrong with these two is crushing financial woes and that's what has stopped him getting it up. They could have trimmed these unnecessary awkward scenes between the leads because however much of a rut they've been in, they are clearly growing closer now after almost living separate lives in the same household, and they are able to communicate without embarrassment. They really don't have much to worry about other than money. I would think any couple making money through crime by blackmailing rampant lovers is more likely to find it a very fast aphrodisiac. Unfortunately for them, it's also likely to be the point at which they are caught!

I am not American. I don't take sides over their crap whoever is doing it, and the present administration is the one encouraging the 'wokism' and cancel culture. The people who indulge thmselves in it by pursuing others whose entirely normal behaviour offends them, are every bit as crazy as any deranged fan in Korea. If I had my way I'd propose dumping every vicious busybody on a remote island somewhere, with 24 hr streaming services, a computer each, plenty of popcorn and a network that only connects them to each other. And i wouldn't give a rat's ass if they didn't like it! 😁
As a Korean, I agree there are problems with Korean society. But I see alot of ignorant comments. I reject the…
At the risk of stirring all this up again (apologies, I've not been here for the past 9 days) I just couldn't let this one go without comment:
"All you westerners looking down and condemning all of Korea for this are wrong. You guys have no idea how bad things are in the West."
Well of course we do - we live there!
And frankly we don't understand the needy obsession of Korean 'fans' for famous people, nor their disappointment and vitriol when they don't behave the way those fans think they should. As for blaming everyone in Korea - I don't think anyone did, though I haven't read every comment, but I'd guess the majority of those fans, and everyone indulging in gossipy judgemental comments and ganging up on errant celebrities DO live in Korea, which as a society does not condemn them for it. They get a free pass to criticise while the celebrities are expected to take it. Why do decent people not question this?
And before anyone says anything else about dangerous streets and guns - DECENT PEOPLE IN THE WEST DO CONDEMN THAT - they don't turn a blind eye or grab a gun and join in.

The 'nature of that society' is that enough people have these expectations, make demands, judge, and do the hounding, for it not to matter that the rest don't. That is all. The west could do with some morals and sensible self-restraint, but one good thing is we don't give a rat's ass about crazy people's opinions and Amen to that.

Things getting heated on this thread for no good reason. My perspective on all this is Korean actors/celebrities are obsessed with secrecy and of course will be open to blackmail because of that, simply because they are denied what passes for a normal private life anywhere else. Even two single people seen out together is viewed as a scandal if they haven't made a statement in advance.
This has nothing to do with safe streets and how cities in the west have deteriorated, nor is it about old rockers snorting coke and throwing TV sets out of hotel windows (although when they did, it didn't end their careers or cause them to kill themselves). They weren't hounded because the public didn't demand unrealistic behaviour and then gleefully torment them for sport when they fell short.
We all deserve a private life without issuing statements to the masses who think they have the right to own and control us. We all deserve a fair hearing when something goes wrong. If we break the law we all deserve to be tried properly in a court of law and not in the court of public opinion. That's my only point here.
Unfortunately for Korea it happened there because of the nature of that society. Expecting people not to comment on that is unrealistic, and I (and I'm sure many others) have harsh things to say about our own countries too - and we don't hold back there either.
This is truly tragic. Suicide is the saddest thing anyone can do. Sad for the person, sad for the family. But…
I have read both your posts and also live in Canada. Yes, the west is a mess, you are absolutely right but i also think you are veering off the subject somewhat. The real problem here is the lack of personal privacy in SK and the fact the public think they own celebrities and can punish them if they step out of line. As for the police in this case, they have behaved despicably, as have the media, but again that boils down to perceived ownership of the individual.
Can I suggest an alternative view? Is it possible that some clever publicists are beating the Seung-gi drum? I…
Not all attention is good attention and surely on the subject of something so personal its more bother than its worth. In some respects Korea is a different planet. I'd certainly go down like a lead balloon there as my private life is private, as is my age (lol). I'd tell the media and fans precisely nothing, so critics - be glad he's not marrying me and converting from public grovelling to refusal to supply fodder for you to savage and fight over! 😄

Did someone say "deranged?" ... Felicia, listen to yourself. If his ex-wife hired you to berate him that's one thing (and a job you'd be undoubtedly good at) but as I suspect she didn't engage your services and has put this relationship behind her, why can't you? Nobody needs to be this relentlessly angry about the lives of other people.
What is it with sagueks? Everyone seems to fall of a cliff like Disney cartoons. Can't they think of a more imaginative…
Those Joseon apartment blocks ... But how about when someone falls into water, any water from any height (unless it's a puddle) they plunge down to the depths unconscious and float around aimlessly? Every time. Nobody ever bobs back up and starts swimming like a normal person would.
I confess i started this because of Park Hyung Sik as the trailer didnt look that interesting to me. All was good…
I am trying to imagine the relationship I might have been destined for had I played my life by k-drama rules. Was there anyone I encountered as a kid the person I might have wanted to marry years later? I can't think of a single one. What a fate!
exactly, and he is marrying a foreigner, so, the audience SHOULD be harsher with him, guess if you are pretty…
I'm just stunned that so many Koreans apparently think actors are responsible for providing them with fairytales in their real lives, and if they don't they must be blamed for it. What an unhealthy state of affairs. Let's hope this mould starts cracking and eventually breaks. Everyone should be entitled to a private life without the depressing expectation they should share every moment with total strangers.
You took a deep dive in the bitterness and meanness of Twitter and you managed to survive it? I would never do…
How about a psychological horror drama depicting them exactly as they sound. Nothing like looking in a mirror to bring the reality of their behaviour home.

Hilarious. You give umpteen instances on why you shit on people who are shit, then demand to know why i posted shit like "I can't believe the nasty and poisonous comments ...". Well i can't. You actually sound deranged. I also don't only care about SJK, i waded into this simply because of the viciousness of many of the comments here. It coukd just as easily been another subject. I'm not defending him, I'm saying the level of possessiveness on display where "celebs" are concerned is shocking. The unrealistic standards you hold them to are shocking. May you never make a mistake in your life, but if you do, i hope you stand by it and suck it up because with your viewpoint, nobody deserves a second chance, ever.
Then why did you? That's what I wonder. You have a lot to learn about life and love. I hope that happens.
