Just thumble upon your article today. I have seen him on several drama and one movie The Happy Life. He always have different hairstyle. Love his deep voice and music talented. Really like him in The Happy Life. Thanks for your recommendation. I will definitely look into them.
Just finished watching Korean “Winter Sonata”. The Good one love include “Patience, Kind, Gentle, and Forgive“. The Bad one love involving “Hates, Selfishness and lies”. This classic old drama will drew deep inside us sometimes.
“Secret” is intense. Really applause Hwang and Ji Sung acting. Kind of mad when the loving good person was returned with evil. How come the good one always need to be sacrificed first? Ji Sung another drama “Defendant” was the same. Is love has to be self-Sacrify?
Love and hate the makers of this drama. The sweet moment at the very last minute and the screen end left me with wanting more.
My first time discovered him on My Paparotti. He was phenomenal. Then really dislike his role in Architecture 101, like him on Phamtom Detective and I can Speak. This guy has load of acting experience
I am glad to read article discussing Mental illness. In Chinese, pardon me if I wrote it wrong, illness could be inborn (前在)or or develop in life (後在). Some serious criminal (eg murderers, abusers) and none criminal one (eg major depression, suicide ideation), thought to be passing down in gene and it got worsen as the person grown up. Society could help change the outcome but not always success. There are lots of people around us struggle with mental illness, some become big monster some keep it to themselves. It is something we as a society shouldn’t ignore it.
No wonder why I liked this series, the director of SITR and OSN. The director and writer were very true for this…
Interesting to know the iPhone restriction . Agree with Yoo Ah In. He make himself look like neighborhood boy. Very natural comfortable feeling. He capture viewers with his acting skill and organic simplicity.
I just finished watching Winter Sonata. Came back here because Choi Ji Won was in both of this super heavy Melodrama. Two very attractive male lead played big role contribute to the success I did laughs at the baggy pants they wore, the hairstyle, the old phone they use. Etc. Older drama has so many plot twists, misunderstanding, family drama, etc, and the pace was slower, lots of flash back. However, I do understand why these drama was big hit and get the hallyu wave started. This kind of die heart love story and tear jerking drama is not for everyone. Nevertheless, I do appreciate how they take time film this romantic drama so beautifully. Considered the technology back then not so advance, there were so many beautiful scenery, lovely music, unforgettable background and how the main leads captures so many viewers hearts with their acting skill. The modern Melodrama don’t go so detail anymore. Less tear jerking, ( Except some Chinese drama with many episodes still doing that.)
Just finished watching Winter Sonata. Wow, Bae Yoon Joon. You stole my heart. Your soft manly voice, your gaze, broad shoulder, demeanor ... how charming. Will look into more of your other film and drama for sue....Your are irreplaceable.
Lee Je Hoon has left me strongest impression on “My Paparotti”. This one number two.
