Totally agreed. I recently had a chance to watch several really Amazing Korean movies such as “A Taxi Driver”, “Joint Security Area”, “Spellbound”, “The Attorney”, “Always” , “My P.S.Partner”, “My Paparotti” , “My Annoying Brother”, “Punch”, “Champion” ” etc. Simple, interesting heartwarming and sophisticated. Surprise to see there weren’t many review. It seems like lots of people only go to the popular one.

First quarter of the movie was nothing out of ordinary. The rest of the movie I was holding my breath waiting for justice, justice, justice. The last scene and the OST brought tears in my eyes. I wish the movie goes on a little longer. I want to know what happen after that. What happen to those students in jail? What happen to the main National Security bad guy? Did the local and international news eventually broadcast the truth?

I don’t know much of the South Korea history. Still learning. Just finished watching “A Taxi Driver” now this movie. It make me sad how bad the military control government treated their own hard working good citizen horribly.

Thank you. Ya, plus too many episodes too.

Thank you

KissAsian shown TKEM going to be 32 episodes

Ye Jin acting was good but the plot and directing was average, but this is 15 years old movie

I found it on Tubi

I think the cover photo is not very exciting, that is why not many people watch it and no comment. I personally like this movie

Wow, Song Kang Ho and Lee Byung Hun.... Powerhouse actors. Reunite after “Joint Security Area” 20 years later.

OMG, finally found a way to watch this movie. My heart sank seeing people suffering and dying by their own country men bullet. Lovely people of South Korea. So glad it got liberated. Military control countries are sad.

I am not from Korea. After watching this movie, make me very curious what actually happen in in Gwangju May 18, 1980? How it started? What are the student fighting for? Who is the bad party? How it ended? It almost sound like Tiananmen Square Incident. I am not from China either. It is sad that own people killing own people. It is all about power and money. Government cover up the truth. . It takes educated young scholars to bravely voice up and fight for justice. Got the outsiders attention and help.

A must watch movie. True story

Love those Korean actors you mentioned, plus Ji Sung and Lee Byun Hun. Power house actors.

I don’t hate him. I have seen all his drama and some of his movies. He is handsome and beautiful. but flat face and stiff here at TKEM.

LMH so stiff on the fight. The fight so fake, don’t feel real at all.

That is so sad. I think Tony Leung is from HK. I hope Rebecca Tang make a come back. She is very pretty.

I have to put this aside. Will come back finish it other date. 40 episodes is way too long. There are other drama I am interested in right now, “Defendant” and “CLAY”. I love JCW and NJH. NJH match well with any male leads.

Awesome. Thank you

Where do you watch this? Viki only show 2 episodes for free

Kind of slow. Main female lead have flat facial expression.. I finished watching it because of Yoo Geon. He has some Woo Bin facial features. Sweet ending

Looks like Korean women binge eating when they are stress. Kim Woo Bin is so handsome. Please don’t take anymore sad roles, it is bad for health. I want to see you happy. Suzy has a cute face but acting was awful.

Agreed. Should let PSH do the sword fight in MOA. It would be more fun to watch. I have seen her done kickboxing, muay tai, judo, Taekwondo before. She is very sporty, talent and versatile. Not many actress can do that
