Sigh I'm probably in the minority who wasn't a fan of the ending.. I wish it ended when they she sent him the…
Did you skip several episodes? The drama did showed that when her birth dad and her got into car accident, a big metal bar poke through her leg. The metal bar barely missed a major artery, that would have ended her life. They had to amputated that leg to safe her life. She also mentioned that due to the high hospital bills, her mom took her home prematurely to recover, the wound ended up with infection, and that was why her stump has a big ugly scar.
Working in medical field, I know many amputee live their life normally with prostatic leg, unless there is an open wound and then got into infection or other medical issue.
I'm still not over this drama Their acting felt so natural I need suggestions of other dramas like this

She did a really good job on the latest drama called “The Double”. I guess it is all about the make up
I just finished this drama. Ya first half I guess she was kitchen mate, didn’t have much makeup. It showed her bonny face and eyes not shine. After she became concubine and then noble empress, she start to look very pretty. I think most people here has seen Story of Yanxi Palace, except me. It has great review and high popularity during that years
When hormones high kids put the double over such a good written storyline you know you can't trust the ratings…
Just finished watching Royal Feast. Watch from the first episode till the last. Pleasure and enjoyable. Self define what hormone please me watching a good drama. Perhaps dopamine, endorphins orexin, relaxin, or cortisol. Ya. I am in medical field
Just completed it. I actually quite enjoy the ride. Not super serious or heavy. Enough touch and flow. Not perfect. Light, easy, beautiful, interesting enough to keep me on the couch binge watch this. After JOL and the Double, I have hard time finishing any drama. Many people mentioned Story of Yanxi Palace, i haven’t watch that yet so couldn’t compare, but I have watch C-Historical drama ever since I was a child and dad always tell me story of different dynasty. This drama deserve a 9/10. The embroider royal ladies vest and gown were beautiful, the vocab, the sentences structure, the poem, the food presentation, the kneel down, the hairstyle… all were very meticulous. The FL WJY clever acting set the bar very high. Impressive young lady. XK has the height and fierce eyebrows, beautiful eyes and lips so … beautiful… to portrait an emperor, his face too small, too smooth and perhaps too pretty, lol. I have seen Jewel in the Palace many years ago. Korean historical drama no way can compare to Chinese Historical drama
